ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

I ordered 2 iphone 5's: one at about 830am on the 14th. I have a pending shipment status. Im good to go on this one.

Now this: I ordered my second Iphone at about 330pm the 14th. I have a shipment pending on this one too! I checked UPS.com using the mail innovations selection and I have a package matching this reference.

Both are 16gb, early one is white, later one is black. Ordered through ATT site and im a Premier customer due to my employer.

This kinda looks to put the rumor mill to rest on the cut off times and such.

what number do you put in on ups.com?

My premier order has gone from "Processing" with the option to cancel to "preorder processing" and I don't have the option to cancel. I ordered around 5:30am CST Friday morning.

the phone number you ordered the new phone for. Right now all it says is that one package matches or something like that but no tracking numbers.
at the top left you will see package, frieght (i think) and mail innovations. make sure the mail innovations is selected.

I'm very happy to read this.... This will be my 6th iPhone and this has been my first preorder and probably my last.... I also did in store at opening and got the same email 14 - 21 days....I'm really hoping for friday

Preordering is the easiest, best way to go. You just have to get up early, make sure your cc info is correct and you have the money in there. Also, i think its better to order online, with apple or your carrier, rather then have someone else, who really doesn't care about u or ur phone, do the same process for u in a store. Other then that, it goes smooth as silk. if u waited until the next morning to go to a carrier store, you might be in the second shipment which is 2-3 weeks out.

when i put in the zip in the field for zip nothing showed uo when i just put in the phone number that i placed the order under and a 1 for zip something shows up did you have a similar experience

i ordered one of my iphone 5's at around 330pm and its pending shipment and shows up on UPS.com. the first one I ordered at about 830am. last year my 4s was ordered at about 230pm and it came on launch day. oh yah on the ATT site.

yah put in your zip, and put your phone number you ordered the phone for in the reference block. it should tell you something if UPS has a phone getting ready to recieve a tracking number.

WE don't know. Last year all premier ATT phones shipped UPS. it could ship FEDEX but its similar to the UPS site.

Also it helps if you have a "pending shipment" status. check this order status site:

It worked for me once I put a 1 for the zip code.

I used the UPS thing and it says it found one package. So what does this mean?

When I enter my phone number as the reference number it says it can't find it. Are you sure we dont use our order number?

put in your zip as well. but yes Im sure.

Ordered 11:58pm Sept 13.

make sure you shoose the "mail innovations" selection at the top as well.

yes it did for me but if you put anything in reference and 1 for zip a packadhe will show so its meaningless

i think if you enter any number it will show the same page no matter what. Someone verify that, just enter it a random number of a friend or something that you know isnt getting an iPhone.

do a search for att order status. differant sites give different status's.

I did my moms number in the UPS thing and it still showed a package. That method does not do anything at all.

The odd thing is i used Fedex for my shipment. I still haven't received anything saying it is shipped. When i tried looking up fedex, i found nothing under my phone number. When i tried UPS i get this.
