ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

im more concerned on whether premier gets their own stock or if they share stock with regular ATT customers. I ask because premiers site was done till 630am EST.
I doubt it but if you want to think so I. Sure they will tell you what you want to hear
from what seems to be happening, it is actually the opposite considering premier orders were processed in bulk and later than others. Seems like "premier" doesn't hold its meaning for this.
I ordered by phone at 8 pm Friday. Accepted TnC 830 pm. I have no order status or no confirmation email. My credit cards have been charged, and the CsR said that they received my TnC acceptance forms but I got no specific confirmation of anything yet. I assume it's because it was pretty much close of business and the weekend but still id like some evidence other then just charges on my bank account. I guess it's good I have been charged already could mean somehow I slipped through the gates for 21st delivery haha.
Mine shows backorder as 0 now too. Glad now I paid for priority shipping on my case instead of taking a chance on the free slower shipping.
I keep seeing how some ppl say they paid extra for priority shipping. But when i ordered from AT&T it didnt even give me an option for shipping? Maybe cause i am a premier customer. It just had Fedex at no charge.
EDIT: I did this online not by phone.
What is considered priority shipping?? I ordered over the phone and the rep said he would upgrade me to priority shipping for no charge. I didn't think much about it and just wrote it off as him trying to make something sound better then what it actually was. So, it is actually a difference in shipping methods that one could choose? I've always preordered from Apple in the past and it was only one shipping method, thats why I didn't think much about the "priority upgrade"

I ordered by phone at 6:15 am Pacific time. I got my first email conformation
shortly after for a shipping date of 9/21. Now today i got a email stating
14-21 days. Order statues is still showing processing.

Ordered at 4 AM EDT on Friday. Got the confirmation email, processing email, and processing completed text message. Order status still shows "quantity backordered 1"
No, I said I ordered a CASE and paid for priority shipping to be sure it would arrive by the end of the week to be here when the phone arrives instead of slower parcel post.
Preorder then try to buy at BnM store?

Never owned an iphone before and will be picking up the 5. Never preordered anything before either. I dont suppose preordering then walking into an ATT store on Friday to attempt to buy on release would work, will it? Theoretically i could then cancel the preorder if I got lucky at the store. But I suppose my preorder would be in their system or something.
It wouldn't kill me to wait a few weeks either I suppose. Haven't actually ordered anything yet. Going for a white 64gb. I unsderstand the 64s are less in demand.
Or if I just try to score in a store on release day and then order if I can't get one...
I live in a metro area with apple stores and various ATT stores around. I would think the apple store would have lines, but not so much the ATT stores.
Thoughts on my best shot at getting one on release day are appreciated. Thanks.

Ordered from the regular site. it had "priority" which was free and said delivered on the 21st, and "overnight" which was $15. I did priority.
My order now also shows backorder as 0 (it used to say 1). This is a change within the past couple of hours. So progress.
IAMA regular customer, and I do not recall any choices besides "free priority shipping".
I ordered at 12:10am PST on 9/14, and my email states: "Your iPhone 5 will be delivered on 9/21/12."
Try calling a non corporate location that is taking reservations and reserve a phone for pickup ASAP
Sorry, I didn't realize my post was confusing. I just ordered a case and paid for priority shipping so it would get here in time for the phone instead of the free parcel post.
I ordered a couple of minutes before you so it seems like they are going on a first come first serve basis.
Actually I'm not to sure. I've got a fan discount and anytime i call in its the
business side of att. but my order show's up on the att order statues only.
nothing on the premier side.

I got an email stating that AT&T is having problems verifying my credit card info as well. The 866 line that I'm supposed to call is so busy they shut it down. Any insight?
