Has anybody that ordered after the 14th gotten a movement in your statues. I have been following this for awhile and I did not see anything. I wanted to order on the 14th but they would not work with me.

Order 32 GB. Ordered 9/14 didn't process until 9/16still backordered...
Order # starting with 7849. Probably doesn't help that I am in Hawaii. Just curious...has anyone's shipped starting with those numbers?
I also ordered a 32GB in white, ordered on 9/14 9am-ish but my date ordered on status page says 9/16 and still backordered as well, Order #3934.
I ordered on the 15th about 5:30pm in an AT&T store. No updates yet.
Email said delivery in 14-21 days
Lots of stores with my model in stock but all the reps have told me its impossible once it has been ordered. Same thing the guy at the AT&T told me when I called him as well.
Got my upgrade fee waived though.

Honestly it sounds like if you pre-ordered in the store you're getting movement. If you pre-ordered over the phone and got a EXTP order number youre definitely not seeing movement. If you pre-ordered online in general it sounds like it's just random movement. But that's just how I'm reading it. All of our pre-orders are technically reservations now.
Now I have no clue what I am getting the mail tomorrow.
We ordered a 16GB Black and a 32GB Black.
The web site says the 32GB one has shipped and I have a tracking number. The 16GB one is still "Preparing for Shipment"
Yet, ATT charged my credit card $211 and change, which seems to me to be the price of the 16GB plus tax, not the 32GB one which was shipped.
Oy......
May never pre-order again that's for sure. Not worth the stress or hassle.

Yea I had no choice but to order over the phone. I had to talk them I to waiving the $250 extra. That is the only reason I was late. What makes me mad is all the pre orders on the 14th are still looking for phones so that makes me think I will never get my phone if these guys don't have theirs.
I haven't read through all the threads, but here's what I did to get my iphone 5 to ship. Short story, pay your bill now!
Original order placed late on 9/14. Upgrade on at&t site. Ordered later in day cause my 5 line family plan bill was was past due. I was told phone would ship 10/14 or 10/21, or in 21 days, or something like that.
For past week, no change in status on at&t site: "Processing". Next payment is due this Wednesday. So, I paid it online last night, Sunday night.
Checked status this AM, no change, "Processing". However, around 6:30 PM I noticed on at&t account that it had shipped. !!!! 7:24 PM, I got an email that confirmed, with tracking number.
So, moral of my story, PAY YOUR BILL! AT&T probably fulfilled orders in a "first customer we can trust, first shipped" strategy.
Of course, if every post after this says their preorder iphone has shipped, then I guess I'm just FIRST.

Just chatted with a CSR and said that expected ship date is 10/4-10/18 and said I should be able to cancel since it hasn't shipped yet, which is totally different then what everyone else I spoke to said...but I'll probably just wait it out.
My 4 is fine...but I just want my freakin phone!!!
Just be patient. I orderd on the 14th as well. I placed it in store around 5 pm. I'm getting mine tomorrow. The turn around from back order to ship is like 2 days. And as for the galaxy s3, the iPhone 5 is way faster on the benchmark tests. Check it out. Almost on par with the new iPad.
I ordered late in the day on 09/14. It went through premier. I got an email stating my order was recevied. I had a pending charge on my debit card for several days that disappeared. My order status at premier says I ordered on 09/14 but when I check the general order status it says I ordered on 09/16. I ordered the black 16gb phone. Where do I see the lot number you all are referring to. Since I ordered from premier, my order begins with 1010 and then a dash that starts with 110. The last 4 numbers before the dash is 8136 and the last four after the dash ar 7011. I hear some of you stating that you showed order dates of 09/15 and getting confirmations. Just your opinions folks, does it sound like I might get mine this week?
Yea sounds about right, Sunday-Monday everybody who orderd in store was having their phones shipped fromTexas, like me!! They are catching up fast! I wouldn't cancel at this point because the stores don't know when they'll get the next batch, and you never know your order turns around and ships! Probably before AT&T gets any in .
Same here! Waiting since Saturday early evening when the BO went to 0 for tracking number. I thought tat message was the one. :-(.
Can we take a count of how many EXTP8899 people we have in here? Maybe we can track order date/time, iPhone model and current status.
Did anyone cancel their phone order? The CSRs I spoke to said that it's impossible because their system doesn't have a way to adjust phone orders.... Sounds ridiculous but that's the response I've been getting.
Exact same boat. I had the opportunity to order around the 18th but kept holding off because I wanted to try to figure out a way to order in a physical store so I could avoid preorder nonsense. I ended up ordering on the 20th over the phone. I'm trying to see if I can cancel the order and maybe get them to change my upgrade eligibility to full subsidy.

It sounds like that happened to a lot of premier customers. Where the date the physical order was placed came up 1-2 days after.the 16Gb where getting shipped last week in droves. I think you should be okay cause the 16's are very popular.You couldn't cancel your order though? Because apple had a lot if them in stock. The 32&64 where all gone in jersey. I would wait a few more days and see.
Myn is overdue, but not useing paperless billing/sending in bill by mail... im guessing this is maybe why i havnt had it shipped yet? takes a while for money to process
