Anyone behind on their bill should pay it but if your bill isn't due yet then they aren't factoring that in. If anything your order will be canceled if you're behind. They aren't going to hold it in the processing stage waiting for you to pay a bill that isn't due yet. This is especially true for people that have autopay.

And did anybody read this on their order status page:
"Note: Your item will be shipped on or after the estimated ship date provided when you placed your order. "
Ha so basically their estimated time could be anytime lol.

Got off backorder 9/22 at 10PM but still haven't received a tracking code.

I wonder if the off backorder to shipment process will be faster during the week. A lot of people seemed to go off on Friday and Saturday and got tracking today.

Order placed 7:30 am 09/14.....although my order status page listed 09/18 as the order date??
I was backordered all the way up until about 6:00 pm Central time. I use the past tense not because my order came off back order but because I cancelled. I was tired of checking the status every 10 min only to be disappointed every time. I was at an Apple store this past weekend and had to watch people come in off the street and buy an iPhone....without a pre-order. Pretty frustrating. I tried to get one but of course ATT had my contract locked up so the Apple store could not help me. I cancelled, and will buy one when things settle down....I gave up

Thank you. This could be my problem. My CC expired this month with new exo date. I use autopsy. I just updated autopay and then paid balance even though not due.

just checked again and still in back order. I order when it said that my i5 will be shipped 14-28 days. that was on 9/15! i just hope i get mine shipped soon. Man that is the most crap I have heard from all of this. Man I would be so mad. Have you called yet?
Have you gotten shipping estimates? I've called five times and gone to the store once, no dice.
I was only able to get on the phone once with them and she said she was "positive that itd be shipping around the 4th of October."
I still keep checking the status way too often just in case....

Yea that was one of the things I heard. I sold my 4S on the 10th, so I've been out of a phone for two weeks now. Really making my life difficult right now.
I had a 3GS that broke a few weeks ago and decided just to wait it out till the 5 came out. I feel your pain. Lol
