1406 numbers and ANY issue with the credit/debit card...
Hey all, so I ordered 2 phones, one right after the other at 3:06 am on the 14th EST so about 7 minutes after att's site opened. I like so many others did not get the phone on the 21st. I called and complained, got the activation fees waived and a credit of 25$ per account so not too bad. All that being said the first phone I ordered is coming finally today. HOWEVER, the second phone that was ordered only minutes after the first is has its progress finally off backorder but no tracking.
The issue with the second phone was the day I ordered it I put them both on the same card. I found out about 24 hours later that the second transaction didnt go through because of similar charges being made on the card so close together (I should have thought that one through before hand but hey it was 3am). So I corrected the order with AT&T for the second I got the notice on (and oh by the way I originally got an email saying the order went through just fine). I asked at that time if it will be in the same place in line to get the phone and was PROMISED it would be and the spot would be the same. I called a few more times after this and was told the same thing. Finally on the 21st someone told me, "it looks like that order was placed on 9/15 in the afternoon." I corrected them and then they then told me they could see it was actually placed at 3:09am EST on the 14th. So the big question is will both phones come today or will the one be held in limbo for the next week? I hope this helps with some info
