my status just update
order : 9/14, 01:19 PM CDT. 16GB BLK, order# 1612....
back order 0 : 9/22, 5pm-11pm.
tracking # show : 9/25, 11 am - 3pm.
finally i'll get it tomorrow at 3pm.
Ordered mine a few minutes later Eastern time (16gb blk) just went back order 0 but I don't have shipping info yet.
I'm a 1612 that ordered 12 hours after you, so I guess that's good news for me?
I've started to see multiple 1612s start to ship.
I am part of that order number but still on back order. I ordered on the 14th but did not get processed correctly until 17th.

Could be. My girlfriend ordered around when you did, but she's still backordered and has the oct. shipping date. She's also not a 1612, but I'm not sure if that means anything or not.
I found two phones at a Radio Shack store. AT&T will only cancel my order in store and in person (I ordered instore). I will go cancel and then go to Radio Shack. Is there anything I need to do to make sure they reset my eligibility right away?

Order # group 1910, shipping to the San Francisco Bay Area. Says picked up from Memphis TN, but order still says "in progress" not "shipped"

Backordered until some time last night (between 9 pm pdt and 11:30 pm pdt)
Oddly, the FedEx Results show shipped to Wilmington, DE. Am I missing something? Is that a drop off point? WTF.

But what were you quoted when you ordered in store? I ordered in store way before you, and I was told 14-21 days. We're not even inside that window yet.
Appears to be a false alarm. For some reason the status page pulled a different order number. Must be a system glitch. OK. I'm back to waiting.

I just got mine in less than 24 hours .
Does AT&T email us when the phone status changes from processing to shipped? I'm wearing myself out checking the order status website all the time
UPDATE
- my 64GB black was delivered this morning at 10:38 am
- I went to the store because the numbers had to be switched since I used another line on my account to upgrade. Got home around 1:00 pm and check the order status for my wife's 16GB black. It now has a tracking number and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow!

Geez... Tell me about it! This sucks. My BF ordered his phone through Apple the same time. Of course he got his delivered today along with a handful of other people who ordered after me. It's just not adding up correctly. Boo!

Ugh... I ordered at 6:30 AM on 9/14 and I'm still backordered.. I'm so upset with AT&T it isn't funny... they won't even cancel the order.. I am still eligible for upgrade until it ships though and I have no probably cockblocking them by going to RadioShack or Best Buy and purchasing my device if I could only find one...
