That's the same impression I get. Also got the "that guy over there got something for free, maybe I can exploit the same thing!" impression.

How long has it been since it moved to 0 in Back order ?
 
Same here but you know what, they are sending my order USPS...Crazy..and tracking number is wrong, I call the CSR told me that he don't know why that info is there because my shipping day is Oct 4 to Oct 15. WOW this is so crazy and strange..

It went off back order on Saturday around 6 pm and got the tracking # today at around 6pm as well. So about 3 days to get tracking info. I know, feels like forever right? Hope you get updated info really soon!!:eek:

9/14 6:00 am pst placed order
9/16 Order status changed to attention
9/17 Called to ask what the attention was for, they said the order was fine
9/18 Order cancelled because the name on the shipping address was my name not my Dad's name (same shipping address) had them reinstate the order and they said it was in it's original place in line.
9/22 called and talked to a CSR from premier escalation who said my order was actually processed as if it was on the 18th but with a note on my account that it was originally placed on the 14th (fat load of good that seems to be doing me)

Been in backorder ever since. I ordered a 32GB black. When I called to ask about the terms and conditions the rep said that mine were signed on the 17th in store... so I don't know what that means because I didn't go to a store. I didn't even know T&C was a thing until yesterday.

All in all this is has been the most unprofessional treatment from a company I have ever received. I want to move out of the country so I can deal with reasonable wireless providers.
 
After my back order went from 1 to 0...less than 12 hours later my black 16gig iPhone 5 will be at my doorstep at 3 PM tomorrow. :)

Same here. Finally moved off of back order. No tracking info yet though.
Ordered 9/14 processed on 9/16 who knows why.. that is the reason for my delay. Hopefully it will be shipped soon.

Off back order...

I'm afraid I'll upset a lot of people (rightfully so), but I just checked and I'm off back order. I ordered 9/15 around 830am, by phone, premier. EXTP889983 order #. I ordered a 32gb white and a 16gb black. According to the site, my order wasn't processed until 9/17, but I don't think that really counts for much.

I'm excited for me, but after following these forums for days I feel guilty. :(

I still thought you all should know. Knowledge is power, right?

I clicked back a few pages or so and saw why you wrote the first comment. Yeah, some people are spinning out of control :) -- taking anything that isn't bolted to the floor. Looters... That's perfect lol
 
Just moved from back ordered 1 to 0

Ordered 9/16 16gb black, what really upsets me is I walked into the att store on the 21st at 10am and they had plenty in stock. Att refused to cancel my pre-order....

Your not alone. Same number 90410, (yup, # memorized at this point). I'm trying to forget it, and next time I check, hopefully I'll be miraculously surprised!
 
A shout out to EXTP'er

Out of backorder however no indication that it is ready to ship

But you know what - I am so over it.. lost so many hours thinking about this that I need to really catch up with other stuff

Now to you ATT... We'll get even someday :p
 
My order still hasn't processed, of course the order wasn't placed until 9/17 but does anyone have any ideas on when I can expect see anything happen to my order?
 
FINALLY off of backorder. I ordered at 2:07am central, had a 1406 order number and ordered a 32gb black model. No order issues either.

While I should have gotten my phone on Friday I'm at least thankful that there's been a change. It had to have changed over at some point after 5pm today. I hope it ships tomorrow for Thursday delivery since I'll be at home all day anyway.
 
Curious if anyone who ordered via premier recieve their phone yet? I have to order through work and ordered on the 14th at 11:30am cst, received confirmation email around 1:30pm cst stating 14-21 days. Whats strange is on the premier order status page it says order date was the 14th, but on the https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status page it says order date is 9/16...still listed as back ordered. I have seen others with the same issue when ordering from premier, just wondering if any premier orders had shipped?
