ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

So less than 24hrs. after getting off back order, I get a tracking number with expected delivery tomorrow. :)

ordered by phone: 90410...

1504 here. Finally shipped. I ordered at 7:30 PST at att.com, and went off backorder sometime this weekend. Ironic how they shipped it after I went to the store and cancelled the order. Now I gotta figure out what to do
 
Ordered 9/14 around 10:50 am est, and order went through shortly thereafter. Got the email saying I would receive my phone on 9/21, first-come first-served, etc. I've been in backorder - 1 ever since.

My cc was originally pre-charged by AT&T - Bethlehem, PA, and the pre-authorization disappeared a few days ago.

Just curious -- has anyone whose order was processed through AT&T - Bethlehem, PA received their phones?

1407 order number, by the way.

Game developers are way more smart than phone executives. We'll actually gte a preorder the day of!!! OOOMMG No way!

no, but next time they should start pre orders earlier or make sure they have enough supply.
 
Canceled AT&T preorder this afternoon, just reserved on apple online store for tomorrow pickup..glad i did it, i dont want wait for 2 more weeks
 
Sorry AT&T, you failed me on this preorder. I'm going to reserve an iPhone 5 tonight at my local Apple Store instead. The entire experience trying to wait and cancel my AT&T Premier order was a huge headache, glad the techies on the website were able to fix their systems so that my cancel confirmation was received and processed, canceling over the phone was useless.

I did it on phone , took 10 mins to get cancellation email

It went off back order on Saturday around 6 pm and got the tracking # today at around 6pm as well. So about 3 days to get tracking info. I know, feels like forever right? Hope you get updated info really soon!!:eek:

I have to order through work and ordered on the 14th at 11:30am cst, received confirmation email around 1:30pm cst stating 14-21 days. Whats strange is on the premier order status page it says order date was the 14th, but on the https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status page it says order date is 9/16...still listed as back ordered. I have seen others with the same issue when ordering from premier, just wondering if any premier orders had shipped?

I am the same as you. Ordered on 09/14, order status shows I ordered 09/16 and no shipment info yet. Still on back order.

I bought mine on Sep 20th before midnight, and they didn't processed the purchase until Sep 21st at 3:00 PM. I have been calling everyday because I see that my order is still under "PROCESSING" status. The CS reps. all they say is that the phones are already in the warehouse, but they haven't been shipped for whatever reason. Today the supervisor I spoke to, said that the phones are gonna start the shipment process in 3 more days. Crazy!!:mad::mad::mad:

Take a chill pill dude. There are still people who ordered on 9/14 who haven't even received shipping notices yet. If you checked the estimated shipping dates when you ordered you would have saw that it could take 14-21 days to ship your order... so just try and relax for a week or so...

I am hoping I would get one sooner but I guess Lady luck will not want to give me any sweet loving. *sigh*
