Is the ref number your cell or order number?

i actually used my parent's upgrade, so their number is different. but my apple id has my cell number, my credit card is my cell number, and i changed the shipping address to my cell number. so i tracked with my cell number as the reference.

Does anyone know how to check an ATT Premier order on the regular ATT website? I'm a new customer and don't have a phone number yet from them (I'm assuming I'll get one when I activate the phone) nor do I have an ATT account either. I placed my order at 8:15am Pacific on the 14th, got the email with my order ID and "delivered as soon as the 21st" message immediately and a charge on my card shortly after. My status says Preorder Processing and the cancel button has disappeared and reappeared several times since Friday. Any idea if this is a good sign or not?

"Pending Shipment" is just referring to when you'll be getting a tracking number. It is not a status update. That's why it's in the Tracking Number column.

You'll go from "In Progress" to "Shipped". That's it.

Well I'm glad I'm not still at pending! Hoping it changes to shipped this week because AT&T told me to expect a 10/4 delivery...yeah right.

I am going to use the phone for 30 days and then pay the ETF and go to T-Mobile, because I despise ATT.
 
AT&T Premier Preorder Cancelled?

I preordered 3 iPhones (one upgrade, two adding lines) on Friday morning through the AT&T premier website. This morning I noticed I was only charged for the 1 upgrade and the status on the other 2 say "Status: Cancelled" on the order status website. :mad: I called and have not been able to get ahold of anyone today.

Any ideas on why they would do this me? I'm pissed.

This is what is frustrating everyone. If you ordered from Apple they tell you every step of the way where your phone is. For example: its in China, its on a plane, its headed to a warehouse etc. With AT&T it looks like they are not going to tell us anything till it's practically out for delivery from the warehouse to your home. But that could be this week, or whenever. But Apple.com customers have a better idea of where it is, because they tell them this.
 
i have pre ordered mine as well

mines been pre ordered as well on 9/14 it was around 11:40ish to 12:20ish in the afternoon

it was on the phone though

Preordered mine around 9:30am CST at an ATT store..what are the chances mine comes in on the 21st? Ordered a 64gb black

No, you are confusing Apple.com order tracking with delivery service tracking. Once ATT ships our phone the delivery service tracking # will post just Apple does it. From there you can track your phone from warehouse to local delivery hub.

What ATT is missing is a "shipment in process" status which tells you you should have a tracking # w/i 12 hours.
 
that's not true. An ATT rep assured me that what really matters is when you originally placed the order, eg when you get a order number. After that, issues such as having to agree to TOC, deposit issues, CC issues, mistakes etc DONT put you back in the line.

Sure hope this is true.
 
I ordered at 10:22AM EST through AT&T Premier (at least that's when I received the email "AT&T Premier Order Received")

After talking to AT&T rep, they received my order at 8:30PM EST and estimated delivery is 10/4-10/15 :(
