ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Are you a regular or premier customer?
Did you order directly from AT&T's website, or from Apple?
I thought AT&T uses FedEx?

i actually used my parent's upgrade, so their number is different. but my apple id has my cell number, my credit card is my cell number, and i changed the shipping address to my cell number. so i tracked with my cell number as the reference.

I try putting in my order number AND cell as the ref. and nothing comes up

So what's the order it goes in? Cause I'm at In progress and Processing..
Is it pending, processing, then shipped?
Does anyone know how to check an ATT Premier order on the regular ATT website? I'm a new customer and don't have a phone number yet from them (I'm assuming I'll get one when I activate the phone) nor do I have an ATT account either. I placed my order at 8:15am Pacific on the 14th, got the email with my order ID and "delivered as soon as the 21st" message immediately and a charge on my card shortly after. My status says Preorder Processing and the cancel button has disappeared and reappeared several times since Friday. Any idea if this is a good sign or not?
"Pending Shipment" is just referring to when you'll be getting a tracking number. It is not a status update. That's why it's in the Tracking Number column.
You'll go from "In Progress" to "Shipped". That's it.
Well I'm glad I'm not still at pending! Hoping it changes to shipped this week because AT&T told me to expect a 10/4 delivery...yeah right.
My order went through at 1:59am Central Time (the ATT store went up for preorders at 1:57am) however, my order status still says processing. But I got an email at 3:30am the same evening that says Pending shipment. Anyone else have this? I did it as a new customer, non-premier. I am going to use the phone for 30 days and then pay the ETF and go to T-Mobile, because I despise ATT.
AT&T Premier Preorder Cancelled?
I preordered 3 iPhones (one upgrade, two adding lines) on Friday morning through the AT&T premier website. This morning I noticed I was only charged for the 1 upgrade and the status on the other 2 say "Status: Cancelled" on the order status website. I called and have not been able to get ahold of anyone today.
Any ideas on why they would do this me? I'm pissed.

Yes, this is what a lot of us have. From processing, it goes to shipped. Pending shipment is related to your tracking number. The order status process and in progress are the same thing. Next, it will change to shipped!
that happened when I ordered the new ipad. it sat at the fedex warehouse until the release day to be delivered.
I can't wait until we all go from the "Pre-Order Thread" and into the "Shipping and Flight Tracker Thread."
This is what is frustrating everyone. If you ordered from Apple they tell you every step of the way where your phone is. For example: its in China, its on a plane, its headed to a warehouse etc. With AT&T it looks like they are not going to tell us anything till it's practically out for delivery from the warehouse to your home. But that could be this week, or whenever. But Apple.com customers have a better idea of where it is, because they tell them this.

No, you are confusing Apple.com order tracking with delivery service tracking. Once ATT ships our phone the delivery service tracking # will post just Apple does it. From there you can track your phone from warehouse to local delivery hub.
What ATT is missing is a "shipment in process" status which tells you you should have a tracking # w/i 12 hours.
