I was told this as well. My address wasn't matching up on my debit card they were not able to charge the card.

Finally I called my bank and had them change the address. Called AT&T and had them rerun the card. The CSR assured me that my place in line was still set and I was not pushed back.

She could have been BSing me and I will not know until my tracking updates...

I am Premier. I ordered 6:30ish am EST. Credit card charged immediately for full amount. Received 1 email saying 'as soon as 21st'. As you see - my date did not change to the 15th.

im so livid right now.

He said my order was delayed so late because the preorders were sold out within an hour.

the ****ing premier site didn't work until 6am EST. how the **** is it fair for us that AT&T's stock was depleted by customers that could access the site at 3am. Its utter ******** tbh. Not only that, the fact that AT&T FORCES premier customers to only order through that one stupid site is idiotic. Everybody has multiple options on where and how to order yet AT&T premier customers have to rely on a ****ing site made by a company that can't even handle a launch after years of experience. **** you at&t.

I'm on a premier account and ordered through Apple.com and didn't have any issues. Ordered at 12:18 a.m. and received a confirmation email shortly after
 
Premier issue

My premier ordering site has never listed Apple products--doesn't show any iPhones (didn't for the iPhone 4 or 4s either). Not sure why (Apple and all the iPhones are checked in equipment preferences).

Anyway, because of this I order via the premier support chat around 1pm EST. I was told 14-21 business days, so that's what I'm expecting.

I got the confirmation emails (for each phone) about 8 hours after placing the order. I can check the status of the order through this link: https://www.att.com/eos/unauth/eosLogin?productType=wireless and it shows Processing (exactly what many others have posted here) and that the order was placed on 9/14, backorder quantity is 1, etc.

What's odd is that I can't track the order in Premier -- Premier doesn't show ANY open orders on the account, and I can't search and find the order by any of the order numbers / confirmation numbers that work on the other site.

Anybody have any clue what the heck that means??
 
How are you Premier people getting order info through Chat? They insist they cannot do it.

But yeah I am pretty sure no one who ordered through Premier is getting a phone on the 21st.
 
The cancel button came back on all preorder as I think that Premier understand that people are shocked we are behind Wireless and Apple and allowing us to back out! That is just my logical guess.
IF you are not showing back ordered AND your CC was charged, I think you made it! Not only did mine show entered on 15th, back order and never charged my card, but worst when I called, the rep told me it shows 14-21 days and probably expect 10/4 or later!


I have back ordered, but my credit card was charged the full amount immediately and my date still says 14th. Fingers crossed.
 
What really annoys me is the gap to which we won't get our phones.

Ordered 2 4s's a day a part.

One came 2 weeks after the other one came. CRAZY.
 
Where have you read Premier Customer Care is open on Weekends? Premier is M-F.

So as you can see, they're open on the weekends as well. Now, they're utterly useless, every day of the week. But they do, supposedly, have weekend hours. I did get someone to answer yesterday, though I didn't today.

I usually read these threads for Shxxx & Giggles. But for crying out loud you have got to stop obsessing over this people. You really think the order status you see on the screen in front of you is accurate? Keep in mind you are relying on E-commerce systems that were designed to handle a steady stream of orders. Not the high volume events like this. I would expect this to continue until sometime late this week. And yes, I am one of those folks who beleive if you ordered online on the 14th, you will most likely receive the phone on the 21st... maybe even the 20th.

The problem is, it appears more and more likely that if you ordered via Premier, even well before the cut off times for first shipment(9am pst) you are delayed 2-3+ weeks. There are several Premier members who have more than met the cutoff time but have been told Oct 4-18.
 
Well the email I received from ATT when I ordered it states the following at the bottom of the email, my CC was charged yesterday, I fully expect to get a shipping notice tomorrow. For reference, I also order another iPhone 5 from Apple direct and it still says preparing for shipment but it has shipped, I used the track by reference via UPS. Premier customer's will ship via FedEx per the email I received.

***Charges include estimated taxes. Charges will be processed on date of shipping and will include actual, applicable taxes, fees and surcharges, which may vary from the quoted estimate.
 
How long after ordering did you see a charge on your CC, and how long after the charge did that second email come through?

I received the second email about 5 minutes after placing my order. First email came right away. I noticed the card being charged the full amount for both phones with tax after I received the second email.
