If that's true that'd be amazing. I had a CC issue - they never even informed me of it until I called Saturday - and I hope that doesn't mean my order is delayed. But oh well, it is just a phone after all. But you've given me hope!
 
I finally figure out the real issues why ATT Premier users are not getting our phones as fast as anyone else..It is 100% AT&T Premier FAULT!!

If you check thru your confirmation email and ATT Premier site, it will show that you ordered on 9/14 at whatever time you ordered- BUT obviously your order then goes all the way through the AT&T WIRELESS SITE:

When you check your status that way, for all you Premier customers, note the date that it shows ordered in the system!!! It shows 9/15. So although we ordered on the 14th, it did not actually go to inventory orders until the 15th which puts us all DEAD LAST and is the reason that we BUSINESS CUSTOMERS will not get our phones until MID OCTOBER (and many were told that if you order the 64 White which I did, you would get it right away!)

NOW WE CAN ALL GO SCREAMING AT PREMIER THAT BUSINESS CUSTOMERS GOT SCREWED!


NOT TRUE!!! I am premier, I ordered at 6:30a on the 14th. Mine says the 14th on both sites. Only some people's changed to the 15th - and it appears nobody knows why. When I ordered, I got a message that I would receive mine on 9/24.
 
I ordered at 10:22AM EST through AT&T Premier (at least that's when I received the email "AT&T Premier Order Received")

After talking to AT&T rep, they received my order at 8:30PM EST and estimated delivery is 10/4-10/15 :(

What number did you call?
 
I'm premier - ordered 6:30a ... My 'cancel preorder' button is back...?????? It went away yesterday and came back tonight???????

you received a second email saying you would receive the 24th or did it say in the "thank you we received your order" email that you would receive it the 24th.
 
FWIW, I ordered at 7am EST on Friday morning on premier, my CC was charged twice on Friday for $1 and then yesterday it was charged another $1 and then then full amount ($426) was charged yesterday too, I would think if your credit card was charged this weekend your in good shape. Has anyone with an Oct delivery date been charged? The email I got was the standard deliver by or around the 21st.

When I placed my order on the site, it said delivery on the 24th. the email says 'as early as the 21st' I have only received the one email

IN PROGRESS, BACKORDERED, PENDING SHIPMENT like a lot of people have. It does still say that I ordered on the 14th though which I did (530 am CST) not the 15th like some other Premier people are getting (I have work discount)

It also shows my old iPhone 4 preorder which is funny.

If I go to the normal ATT website (where I can view my bills, pay etc) and log in and go to the 'my orders' section: https://www.att.com/olam/loginAction.olamexecute

PROCESSING. Nothing else.

So 2 different spots are telling me different stuff. My CC was hit with full pending charge on 9/14.

I am in the EXACT situation. But my cancel preorder button came back. Don't know why?

It's not telling you two different things. "In Progress" and "Processing" are the same.

AT&T is just stupid and they have two different order status pages with different terminology on each.

Almost everyone who ordered from the Premier site shows back order and have been told 14-21 days-hardly anyone appears to be lucky enough to get on the 21st or even the 24th. Hopefully you are the exception.
 
Well thats upsetting. Just called. Will be delivered within two weeks after it releases. Fantastic!
 
Yeah I think a lot of premier orders will not deliver on release date. My att status pages say order placed 9/16 even though I ordered 4:30am on the 14th.

The cancel button came back on all preorder as I think that Premier understand that people are shocked we are behind Wireless and Apple and allowing us to back out! That is just my logical guess.
IF you are not showing back ordered AND your CC was charged, I think you made it! Not only did mine show entered on 15th, back order and never charged my card, but worst when I called, the rep told me it shows 14-21 days and probably expect 10/4 or later!

AT&T Premier is...quite literally...the LEAST premier thing ever.
 
My Premier order said something weird this morning,It said something like "ATTENTION!-. But now it says Preorder processing and it shows the order data of 9/14 (i actually placed this order around 8:30EST) and the email says I should get it by 9/21. Also says it was Paid by credit card though I am not showing the actual charge yet on my bank account. Hopefully im in line for a 9/21
 
I think people are stressing over missing the first shipment for no reason. Remember we still have 5 business days until Sept. 21st. I bet they're shipping items out first using regular ground, and then gradually ramp it up to 2-3 days to overnight in order to get the phone to you on the 21st. In other words, they will probably be shipping phones out everyday as they process orders and will use quicker shipping method as the deadline to launch approaches.

At least to me that makes a whole lot more sense than them trying to ship their entire stock in one day, then sit on their asses.

I usually read these threads for Shxxx & Giggles. But for crying out loud you have got to stop obsessing over this people. You really think the order status you see on the screen in front of you is accurate? Keep in mind you are relying on E-commerce systems that were designed to handle a steady stream of orders. Not the high volume events like this. I would expect this to continue until sometime late this week. And yes, I am one of those folks who beleive if you ordered online on the 14th, you will most likely receive the phone on the 21st... maybe even the 20th.
