ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

I'm premier and I haven't been told Oct 4-18. so, my fingers are crossed.
 
Ordered phone on 9/14 at 5:35am EST and backorder on status changed a few hours ago from 1 to 0 via att site standard account Received both emails - just FYI to everyone :)

I ordered two iPhone 5's around 8:00 a.m. EST on Friday and have not yet received a second email and the AT&T site still shows processing with no indication of back ordered or on time. Our credit card was charged on September 15th.

Are the 8:00 a.m. EST orders showing on time or back ordered for others? I wasn't interested in scanning 53 pages in TapaTalk.
 
Am I the only person that doesnt have a 1 in the backordered column?

My order is still in progress/backordered

Pllaced it 12pm est on pre order day
 
I still have Backordered as 1, but got of the chat with a CSR and outlook seems good.

I'm guessing the response about 12PM EST was copied and pasted; seems like they're going with this as a quasi-official answer. And based off of order submission on the website rather than CC charge time as well. Regardless, my CC was charged at 11:30AM EST so I'm crossing my fingers to get it on the 21st.

edit: LOL, looks like I got the same CSR and response as gob786 just a few posts up. Confirms that they're just pasting this response.

I think AT&T is programmed to say that by now. Until I see 'shipped' with a tracking number - I'm taking everything with a grain of salt.... but this is driving me crazy! I hate this waiting game. I just want an answer.

I haven't been told that either, mainly because every rep I get on chat says they cant see anything about my order because it is from a Premier account. There was one post from someone that seemed to suggest they ordered around the same time I did(when the Premier site came back up around 3:10am pst) that was told Oct 4-18. Ill be calling Premier in the am, as soon as they open.
 
Gabrielle must be popular on the web customer service since I had her also. She said Orders placed before 9:00AM Pacific(12:00PM EST) on 9/14/12 will ship by 9/21/12. Orders placed after this time, will ship in 14-21 business days.

This applies to regular or Premiere. I am Premiere and my order has processed according to her and I should expect it to ship (hopefully receive) the 21st.

They havent charged anyone yet. They put a temporary hold, which expires after so many days unless the charge is processed.

I talked to three different Reps(over chat) saying they couldn't say anything/see anything about Premier.

Yeah, don't put too much stock in that. From the email confirming my order:

Credit/debit card reminder
Please remember, your credit/debit card will not be charged until time of shipment. However, funds in the amount of your purchase will be immediately held and not available for other use.
 
I ordered Friday morning, but AT&T shows my order as being ordered on Saturday. Is that because my credit cards were charged on Saturday?

My CC was charged, it was pending yesterday, but today it shows as charged.

My email said didn't say that, mine (from Premier) stated the following, and my Amex was charged, it's not a pending charge, it was yesterday but tonight when I checked it shows charged...

I actually ordered it before the scheduled launch time at 1:59am Central. I got into the site at 1:56am and clicked as fast as I could. I had no problems at all and the site was fast. I checked 10 minutes later and it was slammed.
 
I had temporary hold of $214.99 yesterday from AT&T but right now "You have no temporary authorizations for this account."- wells fargo

I had placed the order through AT&T premier at 10:30AM EST. Anyone else in same boat as me? (unless wells fargo is just SLOW at updates) lol

Well I used my Wells CC for my iPhone purchase through Apple and it has shipped and the charge still shows as "Pending". I used my Amex for my Premier iPhone purchase and it shows up as a charge today, yesterday it was Pending.

This is crazy, it's Sunday night, I expect a lot of information will start getting updated tomorrow with shipping, etc...

I'm Premier....my charge was not a hold - mine was a charge. I had the same statment as you.
