I ordered through premier at about 4:50am central time on Friday. Mine does not show backordered yet. Still looks the same as it did right after I placed the order. They have charged me already too. Hopefully I'm safe.
 
any hope for a backordered 64 gb black at 4:30 pm on the 14th at this point?

I would think that has a better chance than 16GB versions, I ordered 2 64GB versions, we use the space. You would think Apple would want to sell more of those as they should have better margins on these phones.
 
Yeah i am a premier customer. I am tempted to have them remove the discount i have. I only get 10% off my bill. Which really isnt much if anything. Plus when i call or go into a store it is such a hassle to get anything done on my account. I am going to wait until after i get my phone though. I dont want anything to prevent the order from processing.

Is there anyone with ATT (premier/non-premier) that has shipped? I have seen anyone state there's has shipped.

There are plenty of non premier account holders who have been able to track their packages on UPS even though their status doesn't say shipping yet.

My point exactly, we won't know squat tonight, as Premier ships with Fedex. Does that trick work with Fed Ex?
 
I can't even find my order on my AT&T account... I got an email that says AT&T Premier Order Requires Your Attention... I called them and they said it might be because my shipping address was different than my billing address... Then why did they give me the option to ship it elsewhere!?! So frustrated... And of course after she told me this AT&T dropped the call... (typical) I was on hold for an hour before getting ahold of someone and when the call dropped the office was closed... I'll have to call again tomorrow. Really getting annoyed with this process. Next year I'm going to just order from Apple or stand in line... I might have to stand in line this year the way things are looking...

Well if your package is coming from UPS than you can go UPS site and "track by reference" and in the "Shipment Reference" put your billing phone number and fill out the country/zip code. This worked for me for my phone I ordered through apple.
 
So, after a long day of football I come home and check my status and it says "Pending: Cannot verify address." It tells me to give them a call and all that. Does this mean I might not receive my phone on the 21st?
 
Ok. I finally found my order status as a premiere member... There is a link in the email you were sent when you initially ordered to check the status.. Both of the iPhone orders I put in say pending... Not sure what the other email from AT&T was for but I will call them tomorrow again to double check that its straightened out.
 
Ok... Now I'm lost... when I look at my order status from my iPad it says pending... on my computer it says Attention... This is consistent with both of my orders. What the hell AT&T?

Welcome to my hell. Called four times yesterday, system was down. Called today, on held for 90 minutes, no one ever answered. Called this afternoon, recording said no one was available.

My best guess is that people in our situation are not in the order queue, and until we resolve, we're at the back of the line. But that's just a guess.
 
Discount on your monthly bill/charges through your work. Once you sign up for the corporate discount, you are Premier.

i work for UPS, and theres an availible discount, so if i do it will i be forced to be premier customer? and also can you order through apple site if your a premier customer?

Man that's really disappointing! From now on, no more ordering from AT&T. Compared to AT&T, Apple's preordering system (minus all the lag) is 100% better.

Many "Premier Customers" can order directly from Apple. It is very easy to check. Just go to this Apple Eligiblity Status page and if you can access your AT&T status then you can order from Apple.com or an Apple retail store.
