ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

I ordered mine at the local (40 miles away-this is the boondocks) AT&T store on 9/18 about noon. Still shows B/O for 32GB Black. Seems like shipments are creeping towards 9/18 orders.

Do the order numbers mean anything? Mine starts with XB17812CV****.

Maybe get it next week.

Mine just shipped as of noon today from TN and should be here in CA by tomorrow at 3. :] This is going to be the longest 25 hours of my life. It has already been the longest 2 1/2 weeks ever but I am so incredibly happy.

Does anyone know if AT&T stores have screen protectors/a variety of cases? Because I'm going to have to stop by there to switch some numbers around once the phone arrives.
 
Has anyone the ordered the 16g white on 9/20 seen any movement? I guess I should say order processed on 9/20. I ordered on the phone 9/18 order processed on 9/20. Nothing for me thus far.

I ordered the 17th. The white 16gb appears to have the biggest shortage. I think we'll be waiting for a while.
 
My wife's 16gb white just came off backorder. My 16gb black was picked up by FedEx, not in transit yet and should be here by 430 pm 10/3.

I've been at work all day, just getting caught up on the thread... My 9/17 32gb black was hanging in Dallas all day yesterday, just like others...

It finally left Texas this morning :D

Maybe tomorrow :apple:

Mine just came off back order minutes ago. Ordered on 9/18 at 5pm 32g black. Now time to wait for a shipment notification.

SAME thing happened to me. I ordered a white 16GB on the 17th and it went off back order some time on Saturday. I didn't expect anything until Monday but still nothing...

My 64 GB Black iPhone 5 came yesterday. I've attached a screenshot of the serial number below. Should I:

1. Keep it for a conversation piece?
2. Return it to Apple?
3. Sell it online?

I ordered 16gb black on 9/17 that came off back order around 3:30 ET and I already have a tracking number. UPS site says it can't locate the shipment details. I'm guessing it probably happened very recently and the info isn't available yet.

It all depends on when your order was actually processed and what model you got, I ordered on the 14th and my order was processed on the 18th with a 32GB black. My order just went off backorder today. When did your order actually process and what model did you get?

Got shipping info - it's being shipped 2 day method so it looks like I'll have it Thursday!!!!!!!!
