ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

did they charge you after it shipped or before? Premiere account here as well and debating about just giving in and ordering it online via ATT
So after I got out from school, I decided to hit up the Apple Store to see what was up. They still have stock for Sprint... They gave me the same old about 10PM, but the specialist said something about coming in on Saturday when it opens or something like that. Hmm... I also called Walmarts (none for AT&T), Targets (they have a waitlist), and Radio Shacks, and they don't have any either *sigh*

Ur right. Some people ordered on the 1st and Already have their phones. I ordered on the 24th but it was a 16GB version. That is Super Frustrating

The other models don't really matter to me if they get them first. I just find it frustrating how they ordered 32GB blacks on 9/28-9/30 and they already have them.

Can't believe you guys actually believe these orders coming off in two days, that means shipping the day the order was placed. Even if they had them in stock they wouldn't ship same day.

I ordered a 16GB white on the 24th. Still on BO
I preordered my 16gb white on 9/20 and am still waiting. They are still filling order from the 18th and 19th. I'm sure millions were ordered on the 21st so you will probably be waiting a while long. So frustrating!
9/18 ordered 16 gig iPhone 5 black over the phone with AT&T. Still on back order... I suspect it's going to be a while to go still...
didn't check that till now and currently don't see a charge, yet. i also just checked UPS tracking, shows "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated." Hopefully UPS shows an update tomorrow.
EXACTLY!! This is a preorder thread. I'm getting really annoyed with people complaining they they ordered 3 days ago and they don't have their phone yet. This thread is very useful for information but people who have been waiting for weeks don't want to hear how you ordered your phone yesterday and are pissed you don't have it.
This is just so messed up. I called in on the 18th as everyone has seen it did not process until the 20th. Well still on backorder for a 16g white. HOW IN THE WORLD are people that are ordering in Oct getting phones before us. I have seen at least 3 people today say they ordered in Oct and have phones shipped. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. These are not just 64g either earlier a guy said he ordered Oct 1 a 16g white and is scheduled to be at his house tomorrow. How does this happen? If mine has not shipped by wed when the lady at att store said it should at least by then. I am going to call and going crazy until I get something done. This is just crazy.
If you ordered a 16g white or black in Oct. And have already got your shipping info could you post your order status page please. I am going to use as ref for when I call att on wed if I don't have my phone shipped.
Sarahw and Brounmoney- We are all in the same boat, same model/dates, let's keep each other updated. I am also tired of seeing people who ordered the 1st and getting their phones already. I understand how those with other models are getting them faster, but if the white 16 is in such short supply how is it that someone who ordered on the 1st already has theirs while those who ordered on the 18th are still waiting...
I give up checking my order status, until I see movement with the 18th and 19th preorders there is no hope for us...... :/

Hey gang- don't know what this means but my status has slightly changed.
I ordered 16 g black on 9/18 from AT&T over the phone... Until about 20 minutes ago its always said backorder 1 for my phone and SIM card. Now it says 0 next to both of them.
Hopefully something ships soon

WOW, this is great for you! I ordered my 32GB -white on the 15th, processed on the 19 and still on backorder.
I'm not trying to rub it in anybodies face. It's AT&T's business who gets their phones next not mind. I was just posting my experience for the sake of this thread. The only thing I can think of is that I spent a lot of time complaining on their online system and I have a premier account so that could have had some effect on my order. Not sure if they did though, just speculating.
