ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

I think things will be moving along faster this week. I ordered on 9-16 from Apple (16GB Black GSM) and only TONIGHT received my tracking information.
I think they've finally caught up a bit on the 16GB model..
Btw, I'm in SoCal as well (North San Diego Coastal)
 
I'm pretty sure most of the 17-19th orders will be fulfilled during this week. Hopefully. I ordered on the 25th, so I have a long wait ahead of me. haha

Ok this could explain some of this, but one big issue. I know that I ordered on the 18th processed on the 20th and was told 14-21 business days. Ok cool whatever most people got that email. A lot of the people behind me like the 21-27th orders got the 14-21 crap. So here is the problem if they are filling orders on days by the week they will never meet there quoted 14-21. This will really cause some backlash.

So let's review here we now have some kind of info that apple maybe filling 16g by day you ordered in week rotations. If this is true we are not sure but if it is this week is like 17-18th right? I have maybe seen a a few people post from the 19th with BO 0. That would mean 20-22th next week maybe and so on and so on. Well my 14 days in coming up on wed and my 21 will be on Fri Oct 19. I have seen people last week that came off back order and did not get shipped until this week. I just can't believe this is how they are filling orders. Also someone yesterday ordered Oct 1 a white 16g and he got shipping info. Please ask your friend at apple how that works. I really don't think there is any rhyme or reason to the process.

Received e-mail with tracking number 10/8
Getting phone through UPS next day air today!

I can't speak for everyone but my order was processed on 9/22 and I was quoted 21-28 business days.

As much as I want my phone, I don't think any backlash from this is justified. My confirmation email says very clearly to expect delivery by the end of this month (10/22-10/31). If you're in the same boat, know that you don't have a leg to stand on until after those dates have come and gone.

I expect to have my phone by next week, which would still be a week earlier than AT&T has promised. Waiting sucks, but they did warn us all from the very beginning.

I ordered 9/26 and was given a quote of 14-21 business days. When I call and do the AT&T chat thing it tells me I should receive shipping by 10/15-10/24.
 
Can anyone that within the last week ordered a black 64GB tell me what status the order said right after you placed it?
Did it go right to back ordered, processing or what? 🙄

Just got a tracking number on my white 16gb ordered on 9/18. It hasn't gone anywhere and I haven't been charged yet but we are one step closer!
 
I received my tracking as well this morning gang. It is being delivered via FedEx and is scheduled for tomorrow before 3 PM.

16g black, ordered via phone w AT&T on the 18th...

I ordered on the 18th and got processed on the 20th with a quote of 14-21 business days. 14 days will be this Wednesday and the 21 day will be next Friday. So if they are only sending a few days every week then yes they will not be on time. It seems that 17-18 are this week and maybe by next they get to me 20th. So yes I do think we can complain.

Also if you have not notice people that ordered the same phones we did but order them in Oct. Have gotten them. Now I understand that we knew ahead of time there would be a wait, but I am going to get mad if people that ordered the same phone I did after I did already have there phones. That is just messed up.

CONGRATS!!! I'm very happy for you # My order was processed on the 19th, maybe I will be next in line.....?
 
Ordered the Black 16GB October 2 around 1PM at the ATT store. They told me to pick up the phone in 10-14 days.

Online it says in progress, pending shipment and back order 1.

Any chance ill get it by the 16th?
 
Ordered 32gb black on 9/30 over the phone with AT&T...still backordered. I'm crossing my fingers for an unexpected miracle rush of iPhone 5 shipments soon...
