Gahh! I ordered mine (same model) October 7th! Hopefully mine comes off backorder in the next few days :D

10/10 got my shipping info -- left Memphis TN at 10:40pm tonight, UPS 2nd day air. Hoping for Friday morning delivery!!

I am so happy for you!!!! We are both in Cali, ordered the same phone with the same processing date. You're getting your phone on Friday......mine still showing BACKORDER # I JUST DON'T GET IT! No rhyme no reason
 
I assume the stocks have just been updated on iPhone 5 devices on Apple.com? Still showing me as unavailable in any zip code (I've tried a ton of zips).

Unfortunately everyone gets that email/text after their order is processed. It can still remain on backorder for weeks. (check the order status page thru wireless.att.com) BUT since you're getting a 32, yours will probably be fast anyway.

I'm starting to get REALLY frustrated... not like I wasn't already, but to.see such SLOWWWWWW movement with the 16gb whites is making me feel like I'm never going to get my phone. What, are they shipping one phone to one person at a time? This is just ridiculous. STILL working on the 18th orders?? Only some 19ths? Maybe that one person who posted was right about them only doing 1 order day per week. At first I didn't believe it, but that seems like rate they're going at now..... I'm close to canceling but something tells me to just wait out this week....
 
For the records: Ordered 9/18, Shipped 10/10 via premier. 16Gb Black. If anyone needs this for an estimation for their order, hope it helps.
 
Went off of back order last night and got my shipping order this morning for my 32 black. Ha don't really need it since I got one through reservation at apple store. So will be returning this bad boy one I get it monday. Was shipped UPS two day. I also ordered the 21st but order didn't go through till the 23rd.

Best of luck to everyone still waiting.
 
We are all hysterically impatient!

Don't get me wrong - I am absolutely and completely guilty myself - maybe worse than many of the other posters. But it is pretty funny if you sit back and read this thread (which has over 400 pages, by the way!!). It is absoluytely amazing how obsessed we all are with getting this device. Days and hours mean everything to us. We are all scanning these posts looking for hints as to when our little baby might come! It's definitely a little crazy. I am not proud of myself, at all. Presumably, just a few weeks after getting this thing, most of us will be bored of it.

Now, I have to go back to scanning this thread to find hints as to when my device will come...

I only just ordered oct 2nd and I'm already SICK of waiting.
I can't imagine how people who ordered 9/14 feel lol

First, I'm upset about still being on back-order. Then I'm quickly upset at myself for caring so much. :)

And for those keeping score...

2 Black, 16 Gig - ordered and processed on 09/20. Still on back-order as of last night. Afraid to look this morning. Don't think I can handle the disappointment. :D

any other 32gb blacks go off BO? my 9/25 order still says BO 1. :mad:

I could not agree with you more. I have been getting crap from my family for weeks for looking at my phone to check this thread. Honest to goodness what does this say about us? I am not sure that I can answer that question. I do look back and think what am I doing. I just wish I got this excited or mad or just passionate about more important things. I am a christian and this should come way before any phone does. I don't know the last time I cared as much about checking something like this.

This is all to say will I change? Most likely not. Until I get the phone I am going to be checking this thing to see what other people say. I mean I don't even know if I am going to keep the phone. I have a galaxy nexus that I really like and thought I would try the iPhone again. If I don't like it I am going to sell it. Wow all this just for a phone I am not sure that I am going to like.

hope we didnt miss the 32gb black wave and now have to wait until next week for the next wave of shipments... i feel like that might be the case.

If not this week, then definitely next because we're almost hitting the amount of wait time that those early 20's had to wait until they were off BO. So much for the black 32GB's being an option to get your phone faster :rolleyes: People who ordered the white model on 10/6 already had their phones shipped.
 
I ordered a 64GB black ip5 over the phone from att business on oct 2nd, phone was delivered today..
 
How do you guys know when the phone is off backorder?

I ordered 32gb black on 9/30 over the phone with AT&T and when I check the order status link on the Premier website, all it says is, "processing...pending shipment", which is what it has said from day one pretty much.

I don't see anything about it being on or off backorder...
 
This is frustrating. I almost cancelled my order when Walmart said they had 2 in stock yesterday, but they were 16GB models and I ordered a 32..

I can finally say good bye to this thread I've been so obsessed with lol. My phone is officially out for delivery. Ordered 16g white 9/18. Thank you to everyone for the support and updates. This thread helped my frustration a lot. Best of luck to everyone waiting for their phones. Your day may not come soon enough but trust me it will come. :) Good luck all!
