I ordered on 10/2 and was quoted shipping between 10/21-10/31 and 14-21 business days. The site to check bo status is a couple pages back, AT&T.com/status I think.
I shouldn't have sold my 4S thinking supply caught up with demand already.
Shouldn't orders start being fulfilled before shipping phones to stores for sale?? Makes zero sense.

Anyone who ordered in store or is able to cancel their order, DO IT. I ordered on 9/23, got fed up, canceled, reserved with apple that night and got my iPhone 5 next day in store!! It's worth the trouble to do, trust me

An someone please explain why I ordered from ATT my wifes phone (16GB WHT) and the pending charge had $52 of tax based on $650 value.
I just reserved an Iphone apple.com 32GB WHT and only paid $23? Anyone address this issue?! Why did I pay twice as much with att for a 16GB than apple.com?

U are right. I live on Puerto Rico and here theres 0 Apple stores. And we are in the middle of the sea. Everything has to be made Through AT&T even The Warranty Replacements Etc.
At 4:30 it shows 'shipped' w. UPS tracking #, but UPS doesn't acknowledge it yet.
It will be interesting to see what the build date is, as I wanted to avoid the first batch or two of phones.
I know there are laws that if you get a subsidized phone shipped to CA, MA, or NV, you pay tax on the full retail price. Was the apple.com one in store pickup?

This might be a dumb question but does the phone come with a lightning/USB cable for syncing? I know all other phones have come with a USB cable and a charger, so I was just wondering what comes with the ip5. Also, where are people getting their car chargers, at the apple store? Are they low in supply on all these accessories?

Yes, it comes with a lightning -> USB cable. It also comes with the standard iPhone plug as with the previous-generation iPhones, and the new Earpods.

About the time that my phones came off back-order (I'm guessing), I received an email with the subject "Your iPhone CSS". Does anyone know if this tells me anything about if my phone is going to ship soon?

Well my job gives me discounts for amazon and free shipping i bought two cases an screen protectors all for 5$ but what im really waiting for is a mophie battery case...anyone has an idea when they will release one?
