Yes, I called Discover because my pending charge dropped off but the funds were not made available again. She said that it does not show pending when I look online but that she could see there was still a hold on the funds.
LOL. Good catch. The rep clearly told me "four days, three hours, etc., etc." Typo on my part.

my charges are fine, its just weird they did it in 4 different charges instead of 2, i ordered 4 phones divided in 2 orders ohh well, I just want this to be over! hahaha
My end contract is 09/16/2014, although I ordered on 9/14 @ 7:22AM through Premier.
We won't know anything until, as you said, either tomorrow or Thursday.
I'll be upset if AT&T doesn't ship me a phone by 9/28 (I'm leaving for a trip on 10/1, so I'd like to get it before then!)

i still have that "fighting spirit" fighting. They ship them from locations in the country, in 2010 mine came from Texas. They're not coming from china. They'll be here on Friday! Be happy and enjoy your km few remaining days with your 4S.
My girlfriend's was ordered through Apple and hers is coming from Nashville. Pleasant surprise when we were expecting to see China.
If you have a law degree then you should know about differences in bargaining power and how that changes negotiations (and in this case you have a large company that has you locked into a contract with a financial obligation and they have the ability to report to credit agencies). Even if he's a little off you should get the point of what he was saying. If anyone is naive it's the person who thinks they can simply call up AT&T and walk away from a contract after a little haggling.
And you can't go for the argument that the contract is unconscionable due to the inequality of bargaining power because you'd have to show that the entire market is unified in taking advantage of customers. With the prices of unsubsidized phones, you'd have a hard time proving that any of the ETF fees, especially since they're prorated now, are a problem.
Also, way to go with calling someone naive, throwing out some "credentials" and then not giving any sort of counter argument or helpful explanation.
Edit: It should also be noted that AT&T has no legal obligation to "negotiate" after a contract has already been entered into. They don't have an obligation to negotiate period.

I remembered my cousin's apple ID was signed onto my MBP when I ordered and decided to try her phone number and BAM!

I have a feeling that they are telling everyone 14-21 days because almost everyone is backordered so technically it's not available. If you ordered by noon on Friday est... You should be fine. They can't tell you a date because it's still showing backordered. RELAX.. This happens EVERY year
