Nah i think we all know that only works on Apple customers, the trick. I have yet to see anyone in this thread prove that that trick worked for them on ups.com.
 
I have a feeling that they are telling everyone 14-21 days because almost everyone is backordered so technically it's not available. If you ordered by noon on Friday est... You should be fine. They can't tell you a date because it's still showing backordered. RELAX.. This happens EVERY year

that's my thought too since they don't have the iPhones yet. they have no idea who will get it and who won't so they tell everyone, you won't get the phone. sorry.

Similar situation. Ordered 64GB black through Premier, 5:00am PST 9/14. Premier site shows ordered on 9/14, regular site shows ordered 9/15. Still have 1 under backorder.

White 64GB here, ordered around 5am via Premier, have a pending charge for 432.99 and showing 0 backorder since yesterday.
 
-Both AT&T’s ‘My Order’ pages still yield nothing for me, no matter what information I use
-Still have ‘Status: Attention’
-AT&T’s website still says I’m eligible for an upgrade

Question: How do I get a premier login? It says I should login to see additional details. But it tells me my AT&T log in isn’t eligible for a premier account, and gives me some nonsense about my account being an individual account and not a business one.

Log in regularly from att wireless site. You will find the "My Orders" tab.

You are like me, probably have a FAN discount through an employer or school.

Go to the AT&T main website and log in there. There's a tab for orders. Click that and enter whatever information to find your order.
 
Ordered a 16gb black phone on Friday around 9:15 a.m. at an AT&T Store. Was told the computer was showing 5-10 day wait at the latest. Order confirmation email says it will ship 14-21 days.

Currently seeing 1 backordered on my account. Oh well, I'll live.
 
Backordered status now 0. Just changed in the past hour or so.

Here are the details:

(1) 32GB Blk ordered 8:38AM EST on 9/14 via normal site
Location: New Brunswick, NJ
Status: Processing/In Progress

Same situation and I ordered at 23:55 PDT 9/13 (AT&T went live early).

I also mentioned in my post that I couldn't log into the 'My Orders' section of the standard site. Either version of the site, as there is 2 for some reason. No matter if I use my phone number, order number, or account login.

Just curious to see if anyone else is in a similar situation.

I ordered a 64GB black about 7am CST from the std att site and my order status just says "processing". Never saw anything about being back ordered. My order date shows to be 9/14. The email I got from att immediately after ordering says it "will" deliver on 9/21. Not sure what this means, but I am assuming I will get the package on 9/21.
 
For those of you with order dates that aren't when you ordered them. This happened to me with premier when I ordered my iphone4. It said i had ordered it the day after I actually did, but I still received mine on launch day VIA fedex....I also remember that my order status or tracking info thru the att website never changed until wednesday night/thursday morning for the same phone....so everyone needs to just calm down lol.:eek:

Ahhh, yes I do have a employer discount. But the damn Att.com My Orders page won't work. Bummer. Also, my card has not been charged yet. Read yesterday the charge should go through tomorrow? So, I guess I'll find some patience and wait till tomorrow afternoon to begin my real panic. (As if my iphone 4 won't cut it for a couple more weeks)
 
See that's where I'm confused too because when I ordered I agreed to everything i saw in order to order the phone but didnt get a follow up email to agree on anything. I was an upgrade, but when i log on to my at&t account my contract started on 9/15/12 so i guess it was automatic but i do hope that this doesnt count towards my preorder queu and that the fact that i ordered before the cutoff does. smh i guess just wait till thur or early fri to see what happens.


Where do you find on login "contract date" as stated above?

Most of us show the same thing now. I have the same exact screen on mine. I think it was said here that once you are no longer backordered. Your status from in progress will only change once it is shipped. So that could be this week, next week, or whenever. But your screen should stay like that till the item ships out.
 
Ordered a 16gb black at 1:52am Hawaii time (4:52am Pacific) on the 14th. The (only) e-mail I received says it's reserved and should arrive as soon as Sep 21. However when I pull up the Order Status Results page on the computer it says date ordered is 15 Sep which is not correct. Status is "In Progress", QTY backordered is 1 and Tracking Number says Pending Shipment. If I pull up the Order Status using the link in the e-mail it says order date is 14 Sep. Doesn't make me too optimistic but from past experience it could very easily arrive Friday even if the web site isn't updated. I have a pending CC purchase from AT&T in my account with a posted date of 17 Sep. I think calling them is just a waste of time and the best thing to do is wait. It's amusing to me how people are trying to cancel their orders and go about it another way because they might not get their phones on the release date.

I'm in the exact same situation.. Hopefully we get ours friday

Since your status says attention, I would suggest initiating an online chat through AT&T website. Perhaps something is hanging up in the process?
