Figures- I have a Premier account and of course I don't have those features! Even more bizarre, my order number from wireless is totally different than my Premier order number received in email and my Premier order number no longer exists!!!! My CC account has never been accessed at all BUT I did change from Backorder 1 to 0 (which is the only status I can reference since my Premier order number disappeared! Sill being told between 10/4-18 from telephone rep even though I ordered at 7:15 am est from Premier (White 64)

My original Premier order number contained in the initial order confirmation e-mail is different than the order number on the AT&T wireless main page when I search for "My Orders". It's ok.

However, I did just check my credit card and the pending charge is no longer there.

I have 0 under backlog and 1 under quantity ordered.
 
i spoke to At&T and the rep said that it could be 14 to 21 days after the order was processed, so we are not looking to receive our phones until the 21 thru the 28th....i dont know why they even offered pre orders!!!:mad:

well, my AT&T preorder went like this.... I stayed up until 3am on Friday morning, and finally got my 2 iphones ordered at 3:50 am. I have been a customer for 11 years and have 3 lines on my family account, I ordered the 2 new iphones on lines 4 and 5 to get the subsidized price. My order said processing all through the day Friday, and I never got an email. Fianlly on Saturday morning I got an email stating that I needed to contact AT&T customer service. So I called to find out hat was going on, and the nice lady told me thart since I was a new customer I'd have to have a credit check done..... well I told her to look at my account and I have been a customer for over 11 years and she said that yes, she saw that I am a longtime customer and apologized and said she would get the order moving through the system, this was all taking place over a 45 minute period of her putting me off and on hold to talk to her manager.... finally she said I was all set and that I'd receive my phones in 14-21 business days???!!!!!!??!! I told her I stayed up until 4 am to ensure that I got my iphones on the 21st, she said I am sorry but the system had a problem and I could not get my phones on the 21st.... I asked to talk to her manager and got the same deal......... so now after an hour on the phone going back and forth I cancelled myt order and will just go early to the store on Friday...... I know theres a lot worse things in the world than not receiving my iphones on the 21st, but still.... damn....

i feel you. damn...
 
Finally mine went back ordered from 1 to 0! Progress hahaha

Preordered iPhone 5 black 32GB at 9:10AM EST retail store and in Puerto Rico!

I'm in Puerto Rico and ordered 4 iPhone 5s at 3:09 EST and all of them are backordered, that does not mean anything. Yesterday the backorder tab was 0 for all of them, today it says 1 again!
 
Ordered: White 16GB Sept. 14th @ 6:59AM PST. Immediately received confirmation e-mail.

Showed up on regular AT&T order status @ 10PM PST Sept 15th. Date ordered shows Sept. 15th while Premier shows Sept. 14th.

Backordered column just moved from 1 to 0 in the last hour.

Nothing showing up yet on UPS or Fedex using reference trick.

Anyone order a 64gb black and have it as 0 back order? I ordered 7:30am 9/14 (although online is saying 9/15).

yes mine is a 64GB Black and shows qty ordered =1 and qty back-ordered =0 and the order date is 9/14 on both order sites.

I am a Premier customerr and got my order in at 3:25am
 
My belief is we are going to start seeing more movements and eventually we will get our iPhone on Friday. Why? Because AT&T threw out the 14-21 days and the idiots who panicked and act like it's the end of the world while raging at the CSR are all cancelling their orders freeing up iPhone stock.

Ordering a 64GB could be a double-edged sword. It's not as popular so you may be allocated one even if you order later. On the other hand, they may not have as many on stock to allocate you one.

last year they didn't do that. they made sure they cook my money lol
 
Well, yes but that obviously requires the provider to do something that makes the contract voidable. I'd imagine if AT&T ever did away with the grandfathered unlimited plans and applied it to the people currently under contract they'd be able to walk away as well.

I do remember the T-Mobile thing though and I believe it's happened with them several times. I think they raised messaging rates for everyone at one point and it allowed many people to simply walk away from their contracts. You can also get out of your contract if you move somewhere that doesn't have service (though I don't know how things like MicroCell change the application of that).

None of that counts as negotiation though. Remaining adamant about not accepting the new rates is merely enforcing your rights, not negotiating. It is however a very useful tool for people when the opportunity comes around!

Exactly, that why I said you can't just negotiate your way out. I had to be adamant because of course they didn't just say okay sure right away, I could feel that they did not like that I knew what I was talking about and at first weren't trying to let me go that easy, but they had no choice.
 
Could be worse.. mine still says pending.

How long has your's been pending? Mine has been pending since Friday. I called Saturday to confirm CC and re-process transaction. My bank still shows no pending or transactions made by AT&T. Call them and they said it's still waiting approval...
 
They are still just holding my $500 for the two phones, I sure hope they don't wait a month to take the money out, I'd rather them take it out right away whether that meant it was shipping soon or not.

Am I the only one who has NO credit card transactions whatsoever? I have a business VISA.

I haven't had anything. Didn't show up on my online banking. Had to reprocess my order on Saturday and it has been stuck at Pending status since Friday. Very irritating.

Correct. They do not hold the charge. It's normal for pending authorizations to disappear.

Basically if your back-ordered qty went from 1 to 0, you have been allocated a phone for Friday's shipment.

You can see if it's backordered using this order status page and your wireless # (whether you are premier or not. Also you will see a different order # than your premier order #, which is normal):

If you still have 1 under back-ordered, it does not mean you won't get it Friday yet. Wait until tomorrow night to see if it changes. If it's still back-ordered by tomorrow's night, then you will not get it Friday.
 
Will I receive a CSS email if I ordered directly through the Premier Store? I have yet to receive such an email.

I wonder the same thing. I didn't order directly through premier but my order was routed through there, from AT&T.
I called AT&T this morning. They can not give me information regarding my order. The girl was confused as to why I had 2 different order numbers and order dates. She transferred me to Premier. The girl I spoke with there told me I had no outstanding issues on my order. I know I checked a box for the T&C when I was submitting my order. But I keep reading the different boards that say there are different things you have to agree to before your order continues and it can hold it up. It's just CONFUSING!! Some people say it is if you made a phone order; some don't.
I'm just super bummed that I ordered it on Friday but it doesn't show up with AT&T until Sunday. Also, why bother ordering it Friday, when if I order it now, the wait time is the same.
Oh well! I've never participated in the hype of early adoption...it is kind of exciting..and people are a little nutty. Good times :D
 
What else could it mean? I really think it's a sign that they have assigned you a phone.

A much likelier explanation, IMO, is that the phone orders got to this "assignment" part of the process before the web orders did.

Mine's a web order and flipped to 0 backorder this morning as well.
