Apps ATV4: how to play classic Nintendo and Sega games!

everybody reading this thread with a free developer account do what oceanminded did and pay the $12 for that site, is legit
i did it a few days ago, you don't have to deal with xcode and that confusing mess plus the 7 day limit, you get provenance/kodi and it last a year.


and they updated provenance to the latest update from yesterday
 
Anybody been able to figure out how to add roms to the Mame.ipa file ?
Before sending it to Apple TV via ifunbox

I don't use MAME but just jnstalled it to try it out for the heck of it and it worked. Do this:

Go to iFunBox Classic > Connected Devices > Apple TV > User Applications > MAME > Documents > roms. Drag and drop the zipped roms. Run the app and load the roms you want and play.

when i click on mame under user application a popup comes up saying "
Connection Failed

App Sandbox access is restricted by Apple to ones with “iTunes File Sharing” enabled since iOS 8.3. Jailbreak is required to open sandbox of this App.

and what do you mean by "ifunbox classic"

For anybody who was having the same trouble I was having with getting Provenance to compile and sideload, the new code update fixed the problem for me, whatever it was. Didn't need to reinstall XCode or anything - just download the new project files from GitHub and follow the same instructions that worked for everybody else.

My apologies. My Apple TV is jailbroken.
 
another update/commit yesterday to provenance tvos
when you hit menu on the controller it brings you to a drop down notification with 3 options "Library - Search -Setting "
you can switch to search or setting and not lose your spot on the library

to go back to the top of the library you still have to scroll from what i can see

With the developer accounts expiring after 7 days I wanted to try this site out for the $12 (https://tv.ipwnstore.me) and went to try this earlier this morning and for whatever reason my apple tv 4 no longer shows up on itunes when I connect it to my mac. Has anyone else come across this? I am running OS X El Capitan, iTunes is up to date and my apple tv is up to date.
 
If you don't see it in other apps like Xcode , try a different cable or reboot your computer
 
Im nearing my 3 month window when I will have to renew and resign Provenance. How will I know when Ive crossed that? One day it just won't work?

you can check the expiration of your certs on the mac

what are the benefits you have enjoyed being jb? can you install stuff w.out certificates?

umm nice, I did update it at that time because I really wanted siri integration and all the other good stuff from that update. Hope they bring out a new jb since I don't like to pay yearly to lie to the system and like to add my own projects as well.
 
I went ahead and did the $99 developer plan. I need to update Provenance now. So where would I go in to authenticate it with my credentials?

Nice, shame its only for one device ios on the combo one, I still have until july or august on my kodi so I'm going to wait and see if prices come down more or a new jb is released.
