Aussies get updates REALLY late. It doesn’t say “shipped” until like the night before and then it’s randomly out for delivery. So don’t be too concerned if we don’t hear anything until Thursday evening lol.

Used the app in my iphone 7 plus strting at 6 then at 6:02 it finally comes up! Scored 1 256 iphone x gray and 1 256 iphone x white! Woot woot! They charged my cc instatly.

I'm on Telstra and it only refreshed at 6.04pm. I know from the past years Telstra is usually the slowest is refreshing their DNS cache.

Has anyone seen the prices of the X on eBay? Double, triple and even quadruple the retail price. People are bidding well over what it costs. I suppose if you had money to burn why not.

How desperate some people must be to even consider this as an option. I had a look and some of the completed listings are insane! $4,500 and a December delivery!!!!
I’m super keen to get my very own silver iPhone X, even though missed out on the pre order, I’m willing to attempt reservation route this weekend.
So many people say it’s just a phone, but everything is subjective to a degree!

I used cellular connectivity while I was in the train station to order. Optus LTE. My wifi is skymesh and based on experiences, skymesh nbn is worst during apple launch day.

I paid via cc. Apple Pay Button is non existent in my apple store app. I don’t know why it’s not appearing for Australia. Bit if I change the country to US, it appears...

Wow that is strange. I have the Apple Pay button (within the apple store app) and that's what I used to pay for my one. Seems odd that it's not showing up for you.

Apparently Telstra orders are being dispatched, and tracking emails being sent, already. Everything's happening so early this time.

Did anybody pre order with Optus? According to my tracking they are awaiting shipment to arrive of the X in the warehouse.

No idea of a date confirmation as of yet!

Who's getting what and whats your delivery date looking like?

I pre-ordered a 64gb space grey with Optus but after looking again I called and changed to the silver one. got my order in at 6.10pm and my tracking is on point for Friday I believe.

I ordered both colour options in 256gb from Apple online and have both scheduled for delivery on Friday.
I've also got a Cosmos Blue leather case arriving on Thursday.

You can collect it at the depot on the same day assuming the delivery truck/van has returned (obviously). However, it is very likely that the truck/van will only be able to return quite late in the evening. In which case, you can’t collect it until the next business day.

If you live close to the depot, you could try your luck late afternoon.
