I ordered a series 2 38mm rose gold watch from Best Buy on 10/12 and got it with free 2 day shipping on 10/14. The watch was also available in several local stores yesterday in Pittsburgh. Now it's back to available on the 19th. Still better than shipping in 3-4 weeks on the Apple online store.

I just check bb again and now it's back ordered when I try to order another one, the one I ordered Friday says I'll get it the 19th and its in preparing status, am I really going to get it the 19th??

I was in the Apple Store yesterday and probably seen at least 5 people wanting to buy the new Watch and none were in stock. All of them but one walked away without ordering one. Makes you wonder how many sales Apple is losing by not having any stock.

My guess Probably none. Apple is lucky they pretty much have the market cornered. Yeah they could buy any Android wear watch, but if they want full functionality they'll be back.

I've been wanting to pull the trigger on a Series 2 for the last day or so and it's very hard to find any that ship before the middle of November. Apple's website tells me Nov. 21 (ship date.) Best buy said get it by Dec. 2nd. Macy's was somewhere around 36 days out, and Target doesn't even let you place an order.

I think the nike ones would be here quicker but I don't want the watch. (The black and volt band does look nice however.)

Seriously thinking about going with a series 1 that I can walk in and get tomorrow. It's disappointing they're that far out on the shipping dates...

iStocknow showed series 2 watches in Honolulu. I raced down there and none in stock all day. iStocknow is BS.

iStockNow has been very accurate for me so far. I stalked down some Series 2's at one of the Apple stores nearby today too. I went on Apple Store app right away and bought it online for Pick Up In Store today! I think yours probably sold out by the time you got there?

I refreshed iStocknow in the store and it still showed available Watches.

Ultimately, I got so frustrated with the release of the original watch and not being able to buy One for months, I never purchased one for my wife and I.

I was planning on buying one for my wife and I this time. Not being able to buy again I am just about to the point where I am going to sit out again.

It's truly mind-boggling how poor Apple has handled releases the last couple of years of any of their products.

Is it Angela's fault?

Is it Angela's fault?

I don't propose to have enough information to know who to blame but it is beyond ridiculous that it has become common place for Apple to "release" a product without their customers having the ability to actually purchase the product.

I guess in a way i should thank whoever is responsible. They saved me $1200-$1400 a year and a half ago and very well might do the same again.

Did you try purchasing it online with in store pick up? That could be a better guarantee before making another trip there. Good luck finding one though. I'm still waiting for mine from BB as well

Don't freak out just yet Wallace. I had the same thing happen too me. Keep checking your status and it may arrive on the day it was first quoted

Received on Monday 10/17 an email from BB that my watch arrived. Picked it up after work. So instead of Sat it arrived on Mon. Not bad. Now have to figure out which are the best apps for Watch OS3.

I was just able to order a 42 SS WSB from Best Buy for delivery Friday. It was showing out of stock 30 minutes ago.

Ignore the backorder on best buy. Mine said Dec but it shipped the next day. If it let's you order it its in stock.

Just got the Series 2 42mm Gold with Coffee Woven Band online and delivery on Oct 20 through Best Buy. This has been shown to be not available for both shipping and store pick-up as of now. Wonder if Best Buy is still going to deliver mine on time? They definitely did not deliver my iPhone 7 Plus within the promised date range, so I'm very skeptical now :( Anyone has any experience buying Apple Watch Series 2 at Best Buy via shipping or store pick up? Are they pretty good at delivering them as promised?

Thanks
I ordered the wifes on the 5th, got an email saying it would be delayed till the 26th but recieved it on the 11th. I ordered mine the same day for in store pick up for the 7th, then delayed to the 12th and now no one has a clue where it is and when its getting to the store. It has been "transferring" from the warehouse for the past 2 weeks. I ordered another one on the 15th to be shipped and is supposed to be delivered on the 24th and have a tracking number. my experience has been to ship it rather than store pick up since thats what the employee at bb has also told me.

I ordered an AW Series 2 42 MM Space Gray Aluminum on 10/1 from Apple and as of 10/12 nothing had changed with them estimating a first week of Nov. delivery. On 10/12 I saw Best Buy was offering the same watch with two-day shipping. So I switched my order and am enjoying my watch today.

At BB. At least I see them with shipping by the 20th 0r 21st.
When I ordered mine on the 13th it said it should arrive by the 19th. I have a guy at Macy's that said he'd hold one for me to get thev21st. He said they have boxes of them behind the counter but can't sell them until Friday.
