I ordered within minutes (11 max midnight green 256) and it already said sept 27th-oct 1st. I know in the years past those of us that were right on the cusp still got updated launch-day ship times later.
I was able to get in the store app at 8:01 am and reserved the iPhone 11 Pro Max 256 gig midnight green for store pickup next Friday. Did you reserve the phone via apple store app? I learned the hard way that it makes a big difference.

This is the first year I even tried to pre-order the phone for delivery on first day. It’s also the first time I’ve used Apple’s financing option. Could not have gone smoother. Wednesday I opened the Apple store App on each of the iPhone 7s I’m replacing and set up the financing with the payments going to my Pay card. With everything set up and ready to go I got up at 5 AM opened the Apple store app on each phone, tapped on two buttons and the phones were ordered and I went back to bed. They will be delivered on the 20th.

I got mine less than 24 hours from the press conference, it was pretty insane lol...
I wonder how these will hold up over time in regards to yellowing. I've not seen anything one way or the other on the Xr Clear case that Apple released last year.

And? Androids active user base base grows even larger....
Apple only owns 73% profits of the mobile industry, not 90% (you liar!)

Most people on this planet believe in a god, but the smartest minority of people (researchers and scientists) do not. Relatively speaking, Apple only needs a few brainless costumers to become rich. It’s like religion!
Apple has a lot more than a few brainless customers. Start with a 1.4B active device group.

Even if we say it's 73% (it fluctuates and has been as high as 100%), that's still insane for one company and is why Apple is the most profitable company in the world (that isn't government run or sells a commodity).

True, though it is very weird that it would close a background app that is playing music. It’s not supposed to close apps that are active, even in the background.

My phone has issues. It’s why I’m justifying a new one. To be fair I think what is really happening is car play is crashing everytime I bring up that app cause my phone can’t handle doing it and something else.

When the only thing in “Edogspeed” life is to upgrade their Apple hardware annually and brag about how their can afford it and others should make better financial choices speaks to how shallow “Edogspeed” life truly is.

I get my iPhone’s annually for free and even I am not interested this year, just going to keep my XS.

That's an amazing Internet psychologist assessment there, buddy. You skipped over everything else I said (like being a combat veteran or a family man or doing work I love) and just quoted a single line. The BEST part? You turn around and brag about how you can get your phone for free each year. You called me "eDOGspeed", too. Nice touch. Stay classy.

From apple.com:

And all materials and coatings are optimized to prevent yellowing over time.

Heck, even my cheap $7 case from amazon I'm currently using hasn't yellowed so this better not!

Yellowing seems to be very minor. The issue people have is cracking on the corners and the fact that the clear case sticks to parts of the phone on the back but not all of it so there are bubbles all over. Looks pretty bad. I won't get another clear case for that reason. Would have to be something that doesn't want to stick to the glass on the iPhone's back. Maybe this matte glass used on the Pro phones is a solution, I guess we'll find out.

I was able to order Pro Midnight Green [not max], in store pickup for Orange County CA area 9/20.

Received order confirmation email around 5:13am PDT, however I checked a few minutes later and almost no in store pickup left and delayed ship dates for all Pro models throughout SoCal (regular 11 still available though).

Interesting. I've not noticed that from the photos that I have seen (of course those are marketing shots). Amazon has it marked down to 21.99 currently, as well as Best Buy. I wonder why the corners crack.

Do even mathematics bro? When we compare data, we don’t look at past couple of days (relatively speaking, I never go to the toilet....)

Market share was 52% in 2010, dropped to 25% today. They lost half of their costumers in Europe in less than 10 years. That’s a lot!

Reason: increased price after every iteration without more innovation when compared to waaaaay cheaper competitors. Don’t get me wrong, iPhones are fantastic phones, but they simply don’t offer more than others.
Lol at doing market share wrong.

Evidently the space grey Pro Max 512 g were gone instantly I ordered at 8am EDT and it already slipped to Sept 27-Oct 1. That sucks big time. Shoulda got the ugly green instead since people who ordered that after I did got release day shipment.

Just for the naysayers... ordered a 11 Pro 256 Midnight Green. Thought I’d try the smaller form factor. Don’t have much need for 512. If I don’t like the smaller form factor, I’ll pass it to my wife and get another.

By the way, upgraded from a 11S Max...

'You should sell that 11s max for a lot of money :p

costco offering 350 off when i trade in iphone 7. so naturally i canceled my pre-order from apple :D

That's definitely a sweet deal. I don't think we get those kind of trade in deals in Canada or I'd consider upgrading more often. Or maybe I just have to look harder.

they just getting started,
since iphone 7, i traded in 3x iphone 6 and 1x iphone 5 for 4x iphone 7 plus, only end up paying taxes

iphone 8, verizon had a bogo sale with gift card, overall i spend 1600usd for 4 iphone 8 plus

last year i declined the offer from verizon for another buy one get one free xR

safe to say as the weeks drag on more and more deals will pop up.

they often require you to open a new line, but if you have a smart rep he can get you the deal without opening any new lines.

Your approach is incorrect to say that apple lost half of its customers.

If apple had 52% market share for smart phones in 2010, great. Let's say that's a cool 1,000,000 of ~2,000,000 people that had the iPhone. Now, 9 years later the market has increased dramatically for people owning smartphones. So, let's say market could have quadrupled (probably more). Apple can now have 2,000,000 customers of the 8,000,000, but they now have 25% of the market. They didn't "lose 50% of their business", they doubled it. Apple wouldn't have hit the trillion dollar mark for revenue again if that were the case. I'm not saying these numbers are real, I'm just showing you that your insult is improperly crafted.

Not a chance Apple is throttling delivery. Apple has to decide months in advance what the launch quantity is going to be, based upon previous year's sales quantities, anticipated demand and the other important piece - production capacity. They also have to figure out what they can produce and deliver week by week over the course of the next 90 days, or whatever the point is they estimate demand plateauing at. It would be a simple thing, if they offered just one size/color/capacity/cellular chip, but of course that isn't how it is, so they have to juggle multiple iterations across a global market.

They want as many devices out there as possible - profit on hardware and on the apps/services they sell through it.

I'm somewhat irritated with the new Midnight Green color. Why couldn't Apple produce an Aura Glow like Samsung? I'm sorry, the green looks like seaweed.

I suspect the stock dwindled fast because APPLE did not make many phones anticipating low demand. Unless you need that camera, or are upgrading from an older (much older) phone, there is ZERO point to the 11. Other than ridiculous revenue for APPLE.

iPhone 11 Pro is the best iPhone Apple has ever made. Of course there's a point to upgrading for everyone. If you want the best iPhone experience, you buy iPhone 11 Pro.

The page did not open for minutes and then I got 27 the to 1st delivery . Never happened to me not getting it on release day , apple said the store was not ready but they must have took turn or something

Same here. The iPhone App did not open for orders until 6:03 AM MT here and when I ordered my 256GB iPhone 11 Max Verizon it already slipped to October 1st. First time that has happened in a while.
