Store did not open until :02 for me and even with just clicking the one button my 256 Midnight Green Max was delayed until Oct 1. Maybe Apple will surprise me and underpromise and over deliver.

Mine was the app. I think anyone on the iPhone Upgrade plan has to use the site. Already slipped to Oct 1 when the store opened up for me at :02. Oh well.

Frustrating, but not uncommon for the dates to improve after a few days...

I cant see how anyone is willing to pay $39 for a Clear Case from Apple, Great brands like Spigen have the same ones for $13 on Amazon. $39 for a clear case is absurd. I buy the Leather Apple Cases but that I can justify, but paying as much for a leather case for a clear piece of plastic is crazy.

I am the same way, I even have my iPhone and iPad each year side by side, I keep loading and refreshing the Apple Store App knowing that a million people are doing the same thing, all with the same desire, LAUNCH DAY DELIVERY!! Its so much fun and exciting and I feel like I won when I get that launch day confirmation lol

Finished ordering through the Apple Store app at 5:04am and the Green iPhone 11 Pro 256gb was already pushed back to 9/27-10/1. Oddly, when confirming payment, it said 9/23, but by the few seconds it took to confirm and load the next page it had moved further out. Yikes.
 
Just ordered the Verizon iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB Midnight Green using the iPhone Upgrade Program for Friday September 20th delivery. I didn't think it would be in stock this late for launch day delivery.

People can do what they want.

You never really see people whine and complain about the high prices and features of new car models.

Same way. It’s such a rush seeing that delivery date pop up. My wife doesn’t get it AT ALL. she just thinks I’m a super nerd. She used think I was nuts setting an alarm to preorder at 3am. And for camping out at Apple Ardmore 2 or 3 times. I loved camping out best of all. Had some great times and met some cool people. Glad to see there’s more guys like me out there lol. It’s fun stuff. Got my clear case today and now all I need is my green 11 pro to put in it. Good times!

Or maybe Apple priced deliberately knowing full well that the iPhone 11 will be the volume seller. I mean the iPhone 11 packs more technology for $50 less compared to last year's iPhone XR. That's not by accident.

Congrats on the case. I was seriously hyped when Apple said they were going to release a clear case and almost bought one, however, I couldn't see myself paying that much for a nondescript case when I could get the exact same thing from another manufacturer like Spigen for half the price.

I can see some wanting it only because it’s a brand new color (like rose gold years ago), but I have a feeling it won’t be around with next year’s iPhone or Apple Phone 12 Pro/Pro Max.

It looks to me like sales are off to a flying start.
Apple will be thrilled they have another blockbuster iPhone launch on their hands.
And genuine customers like me can't wait to get the iPhone 11 Pro in our hands.

You would think so, but there’s no guarantee. Last year, I used the form provided by Apple, and the UPS driver refused to accept it, so I had to drive over and pick it up at the UPS facility at the end of the day once the truck completed its route.

If it was blockbuster the dates would be well in October and November now.

I've done that before. I also play the "Do I call out 'sick' on my delivery day so I can be home for my phone?" game

Right now a lot of web surveys, and anectodal sales stories, seem to say it’s the most popular color.
