if it's just a price drop/very minor speed bump...ouch...that'll cause some grumbling among fellow macrumorers!

Price drops are always nice though, I don't need the latest and greatest the same week, sometimes even month, but I always need money.

I have a £54 GBP voucher from Apple to use if you spend over £180 before June 30th.

If anyone wants to buy it from me, I'm not in the market for anything from the UK store.

Rich.

Hey when the new MBP comes out I was gonna use that Juniper VISA deal and get the card and finance the laptop and pay it off in under 90 days. You guys think that's worth it or are the rates they charge insane if you go past 90 days?

Has anyone financed a macbook before?

Or should I just use a credit card I already have. The problem is my limit isn't high enough to get a MBP on, I never bothered to request an increase, so maybe I will later but I needed the laptop soon so I figured finance it quick.

Only do the Juniper thing if you do plan on paying it off in 90 days. The rates are really high if you do go past that (I think well over 20% APR), and it isn't really worth it.

I'm sorry but I couldn't find a translated version of this,
so it's just something for us Germans: :D

Guy 1: Oh no, not again. My nerves, this strain, this uncertainity.
Guy 2: Why, what's happining?
Guy 1: The Apple Store is offline
Guy 2: OMG!

You just know whatever technician is actually doing the site update is browsing this site right about now and seeing all of us waiting. And he's sitting there. Sitting there with his finger over the Enter button that'll unleash the new MPB upon the world. Sitting there laughing.

:apple:

Depending on what we see here in a bit, 'Steve Jobs' could be an American synonym for the same.

HAHAHAHA!

Here's hoping, eh?

Well, I must go to rehearsal now... eff! I guess I'll get to see the new gear at 6pm... but that's all right, since I'll be buying it immediately thereafter.

Apple Insider lists the following specs:

• 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor; 4MB shared level 2 cache
• 2GB of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300)
• 120GB 5400-rpm hard drive
• 15.4-inch (diagonal) TFT widescreen display; 1440 by 900 pixels

But the MBP is almost certainly going to sport 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM. I would think they would include a 160GB hard drive. And the screen is most likely going to be a new LED backlit screen.

• NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 128MB of GDDR3 SDRAM
This would be cool!
