I know its not going to happen tomorrow (whoops, today), and maybe not ever with the rumors (doubt that though) but I want a refresh of the mac mini. I love these little things for just the casual mac experience plus a little serious work. New form factor would be great, but I doubt that would be anytime soon.
Oh, and Final Cut Express 4.

The same form factor as the appleTV and airport extreme would be cool

This might sound odd but I'm hoping for a minor update. I've been waiting for this because it seemed best to wait for the update (it was so obviously coming) but I don't want to buy new technology before it's been tested by all the early adopters.
Hoping for faster processor, bigger/faster HDD, better Graphics card.

Why do you feel that way before Apple has even released anything? You have had two months of good use for your MBP and that's got to be valuable...
Well, when the MacBooks were updated a few weeks ago, the store came back online around 8:40am EST. I would assume today will not be much different.

you're right JFreak, I love my MBP, i mean really love it. we have kind of a relationship...and I shouldn't just turn my back on it for something newer! I just like being part of the excitement!!!

Personally...I want the magnetic latch on the MBPs. It looks so slick on the MBs, the mechanical latch is sooo last year!

Hey when the new MBP comes out I was gonna use that Juniper VISA deal and get the card and finance the laptop and pay it off in under 90 days. You guys think that's worth it or are the rates they charge insane if you go past 90 days?

Or should I just use a credit card I already have. The problem is my limit isn't high enough to get a MBP on, I never bothered to request an increase, so maybe I will later but I needed the laptop soon so I figured finance it quick.

out of interest (i didnt know the specs of the old MBP) is this the older model?
