People are waiting for software updates that they're afraid they might miss out on if they buy MacBook Pros this week before WWDC, like any iLife updates that would be bundled, etc.
If they update today I have a funny feeling they're just gonna go with Santa Rosa and keep the rest the same.
Ideally I'd love to see a small full-spec (ie. not LV or ULV chip-based) MBP. I'm not holding my breath though.

Well, it's a World Wide Developers Conference. So yes, it will be 90 minutes Leopard, 25 minutes XServe, five minutes iPod, Apple TV and iPhone. The eight core MacPros were important for developers because they can reduce compile times by fifty percent. A 1920 x 1280 10 inch screen that requires resolution independent drawing would be important for developers. But LCD screens with LED backlight are of no importance whatsoever to software developers.
Yeah, it was completely empty and then at about 3 am CST they updated the refurbs with almost every intel mac ever made, a few minis also. I'm going to bed at 5:01 though
So did I... I bought it last 22nd, May, though I didn't payed until last 1st, June (I chose wire transfer... so it takes a few days and I also purchased because a special discount for my university's students just ended, 1194 euros vs the normal student discount: 1302 euros).
And yesterday I received an e-mail saying that my MB (customised with 2 Gb. RAM and I also bought a bag) was sent... (now I can't check the status because it says that there's a scheduled maintenance going on :/). I guess it's been shipped from Shangai to The Netherlands because it has the "Merge in transit NL", and after googling a bit, I found the apecode website (which has been down the last few days).
Anyways... I would also like to know if Apple will honor the "on hiatus" purchases...
It would be really stupid returning the MB to buy another one... just to get the rebate while they can do it without me having to do that
perhaps it's an "asia only" update with an 13,3" mbp cause of the asian demand for ultraportables
He he, yeah could be something like this, but worldwide of course.
LED screens would be great. So would 7200rpm hard drives for 15-incher, but that's no biggie as hard drives can always be changed.
