The iPhone 12 Pro would be powerful enough to run a VR headset with a AAA title. Here’s my wishful thinking! :)

Unlikely. It’ll probably resemble the single camera setup from the iPhone XR.

As someone who owns a MacBook Pro, iPhone and iPad, having all your Apple devices on the same charging/connectivity interface would be a huge advantage to being in the ecosystem. Their computers and iPads have already started transitioning over.

As much as this would stink since people like me have so many lightning cords at home and at work, it only makes sense to do this now and get it over with. One cord for all...just like how you can use any wireless charger with any brand phone.

Who cares if the phone has USB-C or not?

You already get a USB-C to Lightning cable in the box so the argument that the iPhone needs USB-C because Macs have USB-C is incorrect, since you can connect them to your Mac from day one without buying any dongles or different cables.

I hope this is the year they finally switch to USB-C.
Reminds me of a seminar I was at recently. The guy sitting beside me had an S10 and made a comment about it having USB-C while iPhones still had Lightning.

Over lunch he plugs his S10 to charge using a - wait for it - USB-A to USB-C cable. I asked him why he used that cable and he says because most of the computers he connects to don't have USB-C. I also asked him what's the difference between hims using a USB-A to USB-C cable and me using a USB-A to Lightning cable and he didn't have an answer.

I think the solution the 11 Pro has is a good compromise. USB-C charger and USB-C to Lightning cable.

My only hope for the next iPhone Pro (maybe next year they will drop the number already, I’m sure that they will not launch the iPhone “13”) is 128GB base storage. 💪

Is not it easy to be Apple analyst these days? Look at Android phone specs from a year or two ago and "predict". Hence 6GB prediction.

What about iPhone 12 😁! Hope Apple won’t drop this model due to huge success with iPhone 11 !! iPhone 11 having almost same spec of iPhone 11Pro Max making everyone lining up for this!!

same size as SE, and keeping the headphone jack please – or no buy from me. I'd also love an e-ink version that had a long battery life, but zero chance of that

So iOS has become as bloat as Android? People here always discredit Android simply because of large amount of RAM.

It would (will?) definitely stink at first, but agree it's time to rip off the bandaid.

Hopefully by the time Apple forces the transition, USB-C cords and chargers will be even cheaper than they've already become. Good news is that the 2019 iPhone Pro (and iPad Pro) chargers arealready USB-C, so the transition has kind of already started.

30 pin interface lasted 11 years, though was present on the iPhone for only 7. Lightning will have been around for 8 years, assuming they switch in 2020. That's a pretty good run for an accessory that is integral to every day life.

6GB in a phone... wow...
My unibody Macbook from 2008 had 2GB and that was supposed to be amazing RAM. It could run all the big name software... what does a phone do with 6GB?

6, 5,5 or 8GB...serioulsy, who cares in Nov 2019? I understand, those views and clicks are needed.

Is there a technical benefit to doing so? Is there some functionality they cannot provide with lightning but can with USB-C?
^^^ this - I keep wondering if pissing off millions of iPhone users around the world is worth it to Apple? Car/hotel/home/school docks become obsolete - the user "benefit" - you can use the same cable to charge your computer/iphone and iPad
