Does the e-sim drain battery? I have to use dual sim.

For me yes dont know about other members.
I personally stopped using esim end of last year.
Last week I had an issue with my physical sim card and temporarily for 2-3 days i migrated to EE esim. During that period with same usage i was loosing approximately 1 hour of screen time. Switched back to physical sim card after i got my replacement in post and all is back to normal.

Still got 52% left on iPhone 13 Pro. Screen On 4hr 3m and Screen Off 33m.

Coming from an iPhone 11 Pro to an iPhone 13 Pro I have to say I was expecting more from the battery. To me I feel like I am getting about the same as I did from my 2 year old 11 Pro. It’s not bad but it’s not particularly impressive either.

I’m not very impressed. Similar battery drainage as my iPhone 11. All settings are really tweaked well too. :-/

Is 5G Auto be worse than LTE? I feel like that could be a setting that isn’t living up to its description of possibly saving battery as well…

Wiping and starting fresh seems to have fixed the overnight battery drop issues for me.

Edit: updating to show clean numbers.

Getting around ~10.5 hours of screen on time, including gaming and YouTube… very impressive. 5% battery remaining. This is on a Pro (not Max).

20 minutes into my day and I have lost 4% on my 13PM. Why can’t it be a smooth experience.

no 5G, 50% brightness, no intensive app of any sort.

This is my life as well. Hungry AF for battery

My issues seems to be linked to my Apple Watch Series 4 ... I get pretty good battery life when it is unpaired and not used. However when it is paired it drains my iPhone 13 Pro like anything.

Anyone else have theirs linked to an Apple Watch ?

I do have it paired with an AW5. But this morning it chewed 4% in 20 minutes with 5 minutes screen use before I even switched the watch on. So I don't think it's that.

Ah you actually switch the Watch off ? Strange. Also you on Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 ? Initially I thought it was that I was on an older Wi-Fi network.

Well I have my Watch paired today. And I’m at 68% already compared to yesterday when I unpaired my watch and I was on 87%

Yes, every night, uncomfortable in bed. Also battery isn't SUPER strong albeit still at 92% on the watch. I'm never on wifi, always 4G. I can try switching the watch off one day and see how it goes.

I would be concerned if it lost 4% battery each 20 mins. Overall, how has the battery life been on your phone?
