I have a screenshot but it doesn't say anything for usage. So I took my phone off the charger at 7:45pm last night and now it's 3:10pm so around 19 hours. Pretty awesome!!!

My iPhone 6 has the best battery of any of my iPhones so far. (4, 5 were previous all bought new). If I avoid any games, especially the more taxing ones-the battery is even better.

I can imagine 6+ owners are even happier.:apple:

False. At least not notably better.

If you experience better battery life after a few days, it's probably because of less usage.

The battery life on my 6 has been amazing. I love not having to charge half way through the day.

I was a bit concerned when my iP6 went from 24% to 20% in 5 minutes last night under 8.1

I was typing in Notes, cut and pasted from an email and surfing a bit (background apps off, brightness low, other apps off) and was surprised to see how rapidly the battery drained. I'll watch with this current cycle.

that makes no sense and is crazy... not saying it didnt happen but wow. try a hard reset (lock and home button)

Thanks, I think. I've factory reset the phone 2x already. I'll watch it on the current charge and if that kind of battery life issue repeats, I'll make an Appointment at Apple.

Not factory reset it is just a hard restart

6 Plus, only discovered wifi calling within the last 10%

I get around 10.5 hours of usage from my 6+ with LTE on, 1-hr email fetch on 5 accounts, auto brightness, and background app refresh switched off. It's pretty much double the life I was getting with my iPhone 5 but I see that the 4.7" iPhone 6 isn't all that far behind.

I'm going to say that the average, most common usage time for an iphone 6 is about 8 hours. Anyone disagree with that?

Oh. I've done that too. I get those confused. Still eating up battery life faster than my 5 (2% in 2 minutes composing an email.)

I want to wait until after Christmas to go the geniuses though...(I do not want to replace almost brand new phone with a refurb...)

thanks for the tips.

Dont think yol get a refurb because they are still behind on demand and still trying to upkeep demand, so ...6 and 6 Plus still in huge demand

There are plenty of refurbs.

Just because they come in a white box doesnt always mean its a refurb, regardless if it may be a refurb, it is essentially brand new as essentially almost everything is replaced (glass is changed, battery, if the body of the phone is damaged it gets replaced too, new logic board)

For the first few weeks I wasn't impressed by the battery life on my 6, which seemed worse than my 5s. But lately it seems to have found its stride. Charged it before bed on Sunday night, didn't recharge until today, Wednesday.
