wait what is this itunes credit about? And how do I check for a corporate discount?
The "3 months free Apple Music" are actually a 3x$9.99 iTunes credit, which can be used for other iTunes purchases as well. For the discount you have to check with your employer (they can give you a special link to the Apple store if they participate). In my case the price was reduced to $135.
The beats x (as well as Powerbeats 3, solo 3, and I think a few others) come with a 3 month Apple Music trial. He way they do it tho is give I a code that credits your iTunes account $29.97 (in the US). So ou don't even need to use it on AM so it's effectively $30 iTunes Store credit. Use it for Netflix, apps, music, whatever you want
JayBird X3 vs BeatsX
It's close, but JayBirds win on sound. Personally, I'd still take the BeatsX but wouldn't be unhappy with the JayBirds.
Lightning port as input... As a non-BT earphones would. For when the batteries are dead or being recharged from a laptop. I lot of over-ear earphone can be used with and without the BT active.recharge only. Why would they play music through the lightning port?
Yea but what devices have a USB female output?Lightning port as input... As a non-BT earphones would. For when the batteries are dead or being recharged from a laptop. I lot of over-ear earphone can be used with and without the BT active.
Do you always have to turn it on and off if you want to use these? So if you receive a call you have to turn it on and then accept the call with the other button? Does it have any auto sleep mode that if not in use it automatically turns off?
Don't think so but a 5 minute charge gives 2 hours of battery lifeIf the battery begins to run low on these, can you use them while they are being charged?
Yep. They turn off when you plug in the charging cable. No big deal due to the fast charge feature.Don't think so but a 5 minute charge gives 2 hours of battery life
I loved the JayBirds, but I had major audio sync issues with my iPad and the JayBirds so I ended up going with the BeatsX, which don't have the audio sync issues.JayBird X3 vs BeatsX

Sadly, no. They unpair the instant you plug power into the lightning port (and won't repair while being charged). But as bgro points out, five minutes of charge will get you ~2 hours of usage. If the battery begins to run low on these, can you use them while they are being charged?

It has to do with the physics of Lithium Ion batteries. High level explanation from Apple here: http://www.apple.com/batteries/why-lithium-ion/which is weird
because they say you need 45minutes for a full charge, which gives you 8 hours of playtime.
But if I wanted 2 hours of playtime I charge 5 minutes? Why can't I charge 20 minutes for a full charge to get 8 hours?
I wonder whats special about these batteries where they can "fast charge" for only a small portion of the capacity
Auto-power/shut-off or shut off, if magnets are connected would have been awesome.
Maybe the first option can be implemented with a firmware upgrade?!
Double loop the neck band, wrap up the remaining cable, and put them in the case buds first, coiled neck band last. The case is designed to be the right size for the double coiled neck band to go in last and hold everything in.how do you fold them up to put in the case? Just loop them up?

Yep if you do it properly it isn't coming out.And does it hold everything in? I mean, when you hold it upside down and shake, or just lightly?
