The light on the power button is red when charging and white when full.is there any way to see the battery level while you're charging? When you plug it in, it turns the earphones off (don't know why) so you can't see the battery level on your iphone. Any way to know when its full?

Yeah it's on the reverse of the black pamphlet thing.thanks. They're full now then
Does it tell you that in the manual? I took a quick look and put it back in the box. The support website doesn't seem to mention that at all - just what the coloured light means when you're using it. Likewise I didn't see any instructions how to pack them into the case.
At first, I thought the same thing. Then I read articles about using AirPods between iOS devices. The BeatsX work the same way. So once BeatsX is connected to your iCloud account, it appears on your other iOS10 devices in the list of Bluetooth devices. You still need to select it from the Control Center/Now Playing pane on the other device, or the Bluetooth list. W1-enabled headphones don't switch automatically, but it's a bit better then previous Bluetooth headphones. So I hooked up the new beats x to my iPhone 7 in seconds and had no issues. After that I was under the impression that the headphones were now linked to your iCloud account and "just worked" on all your other devices that are signed in to that account. Worked fine with the iPad too. Turned off BT on the ipad and iphone, now trying to do it on the macbook and just can't get it to work.
Anyone else have these and have any tips? Thanks.
I got it to switch back and forth from iPhone to iPad. I can't for the life of me get it to connect to my MBP. They're not even showing up in the bluetooth preference pane.At first, I thought the same thing. Then I read articles about using AirPods between iOS devices. The BeatsX work the same way. On the Mac, you need to have MacOS Sierra installed for it to appear in the list automatically. If you don't have Sierra, you'll need to pair it like any other Bluetooth headphone.I got it to switch back and forth from iPhone to iPad. I can't for the life of me get it to connect to my MBP. I'm on the latest version of sierra (no beta). Not showing up automatically or in BT settings like I would add something else.On the Mac, you need to have MacOS Sierra installed for it to appear in the list automatically. So I've been a bose user for a long time. I have the old sound sports that are amazing. But they have started to really fall apart at near the buds. I picked up a pair of the wireles sound sports sometime back and returned them a few days later. The sound quality was not even comparable to the corded sound sports. I just got the beats X hoping the sound would be close to my old sound sports but so far I've been less than thrilled. Everything sounds very tinny almost like the highs are way to high. The only way I can get decent sound is to shove them way into my ears which is very uncomfortable. Also I noticed that the labels are wrong on my headphones, it shows R for the left one and L for the right one. How have y'alls experience been with these?
Still trying to figure out who exactly is the target audience for these. They look perfect for something you could use to work out with. As long as you know, you don't sweat. Like ever... Kind of defeats the purpose of me having these, if I can't workout or use them around the yard etc.

Beats X Unboxing and First Impressions
Yeah it's a weird choice, seems like they could've been PowerBeats replacements but then they decided to keep selling the PowerBeats and that they should have a the sweat resistant feature to keep them relevant.
I'll be running with anyway, see how it works out.
