I think they are designed to weigh down the cable so it doesn't fall down your back and pull out the earphones.

I believe it was Tuesday, December 13th. It was around 9AM EST? They were then available in stores about a week after that.

So it could be that they're waiting until 9AM PST because of backlash from the AirPods? They start preorders for iPhones at 12AM PST, which sucks for those in the EST so then again, maybe they don't care about that.

12/13 at 9am EDT. I didn't get my order in until 10:20am that morning missing the first round of shipments with a 2 week expected delivery date. I won't be fooled again!:mad:
 
I signed up to be notified on the Beats website when they would become available and I just got the notice that they will be available Friday the 10th!

They look way nicer, more compact and I like that it has the W1 chip and is magnetic but would it be suitable for using at the gym too? I checked beats website and can't find anything about that.

Cnet's review states that they are sweat "resistant".

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Something a little more akin to the Nike lime and black sports band on the Apple Watch would have been so cool.
 
Kinda surprised we haven't seen changes on amazon or Best Buy or anyone else to reflect delivery times. Wonder what store inventories will be like launch day. Obviously not as high demand as air pods given this threads shortness.
 
I just got an update to my amazon order, says expected ship date is 2/10 and arriving 2/14
 
I'm not sure if this question has been asked yet, any info about a European release? Specifically Germany :)
