No, some of us after being with AT&T, before that Cingular, and before that PacBell Wireless are jumping ship for the Android because unlike many, I need a phone first and a media device second. I also believe that the majority of people who suddenly dislike the OS have never actually used it. It needs some work but so did the iOS.
Must be your area, and it sounds like you settled for an Android device so I was right. The phone part of my iPhone 4 works perfectly fine no matter which way I hold it. I only had 2 dropped calls with my 3GS when I was talking with a Verizon phone in Seattle. They called me back with an AT&T phone and we didn't have any problems. My iPhone 4 has been perfect so far. I would never trade my beautiful iPhone 4 for a dorky looking Android phone, I don't care what anyone says about antennas or "customization."
