As big as a rap fan I am, I know that rap concerts generally, well, suck ass. But Kanye was able to stay away from all those dumb things that rappers do like having a 'posse' on the stage rapping and shouting stuff like 'wheres my dawgs at'.
He was really energetic dancing around the stage and the coolest thing was, he had a live band. It was like an orchestra with strings and everything.
The only bad part of the concert was getting kicked out, but other than that we loved it.

I'm just hoping that Keane will come to Omaha or Council Bluffs soon.
Oooh! That sounds like so much fun. I've only heard a song or two with the whole group but I got to see Victor Wooten with an Indian guitar player... very small, intimate venue. I got Wooten to sign my CD and ticket stub.MattG said:I just bought tix to see Bela Fleck and the Flecktones in March!

Having played violin and listening to alternative/rock, it seems like most electric bass parts are simple and dare I say, easy?
Victor Wooten completely blew me away! At one point, I could not distinguish any of his fingers-- just a blur of color hovering all over the fingerboard.![]()
