saw toad the wet sprocket last week in baltimore on their reunion tour. was good, though i was in a horrible spot the whole time. good to see the boys back together.

That'd be a great show to see. I love those guys, it must have been fun :)

I haven't been to a concert in coming up on three years. The last one was Dave Matthews in SLC. They are absolutely amazing live, and I have to admit that I think that Dave is a bit of a cutie.... :D

Wellll, on July 1st, I went to a small local venue to see Brand New... and it was amazing. The pit was really packed though, so I came home so drenched in sweat that my mother thought I had gone swimming when she put them in the washer the next morning. The two bands that played before Brand New were really good (one was from NY... dunno where the other was from), but I could never get the names of the bands, which was disappointing. Other than that, it was a really good show.

Last night I went to Taking Back Sunday, Angels & Airwaves, Head Automatica, and The Subways at a medium sized venue (seats about 3,500). We originally had pretty bad seats, but we came up with an ingenious plan to get into the pit... and it worked. Suffice it to say that 5 people made it into the pit with only two wristbands. We're good like that. Everybody in the pit got really krunk for TBS. For angels & airwaves, it was more of a chill experience. Either way, it was an amazing concert. I have a couple of videos on my phone, but you can just barely make out what songs TBS is playing (Cute w/o the E, Set Phasers to Stun, Make Damn Sure). Only one picture turned out, though, and it's one of Tom Delonge (A&A lead singer). Here it is:

Clapton at The Royal Albert Hall with Derek Trucks on 2nd guitar.* Really fine show.* He has surprised me both times I have seen him there.

Saturday night saw Sonic Youth and Pearl Jam. Eddie Vedder is quite the singer. :D I don't have much else to say about the show.

saw AWOL One the other night ... that's some good underground hip-hop; very Sage Francis.

played my first show in over two years ... solo; fun. there were about 7 of us playing that night. electronic madness. :p

i missed Slightly Stoopid, Fatlip, and countless other shows i failed to see in the local papers. wish i could afford tix to the RHCP show; never seen them live. :( This double album is nice. :)

still waiting for Tool…

Just saw MUSE live last night... they put on a fantastic show. I was worried that they'd be too loud for my measly cheap-o ear plugs, but my ear plugs were successfully able to tone down the volume. :D

Wow... I'm very jealous! Muse is awesome. And now that I'm reminded of it, I should probably start wearing earplugs when i go to shows. When I first started, it was way too loud, but my ears have gotten used to the volume levels by now. Either that, or I'm going deaf or something. I'll try to buy some before my next show and see how they work out.

There was a show up closer to me in Grand Prairie, so I ended up going to that one. The TBS lead singer did say, "You guys blow the hell out of houston"... :p Of course he might just say that about every city.

Two pics from the Chili Peppers at Earls Court, London on Friday 14/07/06.

Another awesome set, another peerless, flawless performance from Frusciante. Easily my favourite band of all time.

I'm so jealous! They're gonna be here in September and I don't have tickets yet! And tons of my friends have 3rd row floor seats!

I would seriously urge you to get a ticket. Their tour is MASSIVE in the US this year, it seems like they're doing every city they can.

I nearly bought an expensive ticket to see them again this past Tuesday but just couldn't do it. I wonder if I'll wish I had in years to come.

I saw Nickel Creek back a few months ago. The best concert I've ever been too. They played for over 2.5 hours solid. It was awesome. Even if you don't like bluegrass, if you get a chance to see them, GO!

Trust me man, I'm doing everything I can. Right now I'm just not sure if it's worth $700.

Went to see The Who in Bristol a few weeks ago. Awesome stuff!

I'm going to see The Cat Empire soon too, which is going to be pretty immense!

$700? Wow. I don't know if it's worth that much. That's crazy consdering how many gigs they're doing in the US. By expensive here I was talking more about $150 not $700

dave matthews coming to palm beach in august. im going both nights.. cant wait. will be my 3rd year in a row going to the summer dave concert!
