Interesting and impressive investigation.

Can you debunk this one?

Maybe it's a fake iPhone. He used slide to unlock instead of touch id. I don't trust him. Might've been a chinese copy. Also, he has a 128gb silver Plus. Why didn't he bent that one? Too precious? :X

Look at his channel

I don't think its fake look where it's bending at the weakest point where the volume buttons are. Theres less aluminin because of the volume holes.
But also if you watch the guys hand when he's bending it you can see he applying a lot of pressure to get it to bend so much Pressure that his hand starts to shake. people are just getting carried away with it.

Hell I can bend my iMac if I put it over my knee and pushed both ends

agreed people are so concerned a phone bends with abnormal usage that they want to not believe the video is real

Who says anything about being found guilty? You don't think this guy would fold like a cheap tent if Apple put a scare in him by contacting him? You don't think Apple would say something to youtube about this? One thing Apple knows how to do is defend itself and it's product. My guess is that this video will be gone within a week or two.

The damage is already done. I think having it removed will actually only crete more buzz against them in this instance. They already tried their PR move, having journos visit their torture test factory.

So explain why the time of the conclusion is 30 minutes before the bend test. Like I said, the software somehow was affected by the bending (nope), the conclusion was done the next day (very possible), or the test was faked (possible).

How you can just blow off the times on the phone's display makes it sound more like you're the one in denial.

The display says Tue, Sept 23 throughout the video. All the time.

His finger is no where near the notification. That little line disappears if you don't swipe it down all the way to open it.

It's a bug which apple REALLY needs to fix, because this would happen all of the time on my old iPod touch, and then I would try to slide to unlock and notification center would slide down...basically, his finger doesn't have to be near the top of the screen if it is glitching out.

The other explanation is that the trauma from the bend is affecting the touch screen, causing it to register ghost touches.

The only thing more common than a phone breaking video is samsung copying apple

Well, unless the note 3 is more durable than the S4, the guy who bent the iPhone 6 plus is certainly faking. He did a follow up with the note 3 and he couldn't bend it at all, so maybe he is sponsored by samsung?
