There is a clear break between the bending and the conclusion.

I cannot work out the date on the conclusion. Are we certain its the same day and not the following day?

Edit : just saw the pics that show the same day.

Do not mess with MR forensics!

The Phone in the conclusion is also not bent. And he said that when he tried to bend it back the screen broke.

The question has been raised in the Youtube comments, lets see if he answers.

I know this is going to make some of you guys' brains explode but sometimes when people don't live in their parents basement, they stay up past midnight. And believe it or not, a lot of the time they still refer to the previous morning (when they woke up) as "this morning". So stay with me guys I know this is hard...he started the video in the AM, slept, then finished shooting or re-shot the ending in the PM. WHOA...BRAIN EXPLOSION!

Now doesn't that make more sense considering we're seeing the exact same results in other tests? Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-Dc...ature=youtu.be Also he said via Twitter that he had to shoot the last part of the video (the "wrap up") twice.

I know many of you guys are going to say this comment is fake...that nobody ever stays up past midnight. I promise guys, it's true.

"Test" denotes a controlled environment in which a set of controlled external variables is introduced to observe a reaction and record it.

What this joker did is more like a "stunt" and should be referred to as such.

It's the same thing with the...."Drop Tests". Pure crap.

Interesting and impressive investigation.

Can you debunk this one?

Well, he seemed to have an agenda in the sense that he said he barely applied any force but was clearly straining his fingers really hard. You also have to wonder about someone who would destroy a brand new phone for... what exactly?

As someone waiting in AT&T preorder hell for my phone, seeing people purposely destroy them is infuriating. Personally, I don't think it's that big of a deal if you can snap these things in half if you're trying really hard with your figures placed at exactly the spots where the phone is weakest. The issue is whether it can happen by accident (say if you have your phone in you pocket and you fall down or knock into something).

this reminds me of an adult film.

guy is with girl.
then stops has a fag.
goes back to being with girl.
stops has lunch.
and then films the pop scene......

#fake

*fag = cigarette in England

ive made a comment on his video linking him to this thread, no comments so far, could be faked. will be a damn shame if it is. really enjoy his videos in the past and seems like a honest dude. hopefully he can explain this and be legit

Please stop.

What happens when YouTube pays video creators per view?

We get "Jackass" with phones! Content of no value to his viewers (other than crass "humor") but plenty of value to him. 32 million views add up.

So it needed fake to make gate this time.

Pretty sad but always interesting to see will there be any more gates coming this generation?

... will there be any more gates coming this generation?

It's funny when the gates start spawning gates or their own. Where does it all end?

I can see future history books referring to social media as a long-dead fad:

someone in the future said:
And thus, in the year 2020, social media disappeared down a self-referential hole of it's own making!

I doubt that means anything same guy tried to bend a 6 unsuccessfully

I have been trying to bend my phone when I am out and about at night at the bars. Especially when people ask me if it bends, right after they ask if that's the new iPhone 6. I hold it up and start to bend it and the look on their faces is priceless. It's like I just dropped a baby and did a square dance on top of it. Lol.

Phone is fine. It doesn't bend. :)

Probably, as some already pointed, phone was bent, put back straight and re-bent again, which doesn't change the fact that:

1.- The phone bends when applying enough force.

2.- The force needs to be applied to the weak point near the volume, that's why the bend tests Apple made didn't show up the problem.

3.- The force applied is not something you may do on a normal use.

4.- Samsung Note doesn't bend because it's plastic, not because it's better designed. The same reason some ceramics are highly resistant to scratches but weak on hit...

He's wearing the exact same clothing in both segments. Even the zipper placement is the same. You stink of smug. And he stinks of BO if your theory is correct.

FWIW I tweeted him asking if he could explain the reasons for the time differential and he has not replied yet.I didnt accuse him of anything, just asked him what was up with it.

Yeah, that is the most logical explanation. I mentioned that as a possibility on page two.

It makes sense that he would have put the same clothes back on, even if he had changed clothes that day, for continuity.

Am I the only one who saw the thing actually bend in front of my very eyes? What does the time stamp matter? It bent. Get over it.

But mommy said my iPhone is the bestest than yours is .................

I don't think there is enough here to say the video is fake. Suspicious, but easily explainable. All he has to say is he shot the first part at 2:26 AM and finished the conclusion at 1:58 PM, both on the same day and date as can be seen on the screen. The important things to note are: A - if you try really hard you can bend the phone, and B - unless Michael Bay is doing this guy's CGI you can see the phone bending in his hand so at least that part is real.

Conclusion: don't try to bend your phone and most likely it won't bend. Oh, and maybe don't wear your little sister's jeans and that might help too.

One thing that's clear about the video:

He says he puts pressure on the middle of the phone and it bends as shown.

Clearly, you can see he specifically puts his thumbs as close to the volume buttons as he can. That's probably the weakest spot on the phone. It was already bending there.

Either way you look at it, he's full of **** in my opinion.

Nobody questioned whether he bent it. It's how he bent it. And this isn't a conspiracy. A conspiracy requires more than one person- hence the conspiring. I also repeatedly phrased this as a question and even said it was more likely that there was a significant delay between the test and conclusion. At best, the guy is a sloppy editor. At worst, he used two phones or bent the phone prior to the test to intentionally weaken it. He got 25,000,000 views under the premise that the phone can easily be bent with bare hands. This is already debunked.

But mommy said my iPhone is the bestest than yours is .................
Mommy is dead and you're a troll.

My theory is he previously bent the phone, shot the conclusion with a very bent phone, tried to bend it back as much as he could and then re-bend it for the footage to be more dramatic and therefore more views.

As I suspected most of you are ignoring the whole AM PM thing, and the other video showing the same results. I guess it's easier to stay in denial and scream about how the video is fake, you know since no one ever stays up past midnight ever. You people are what give Apple fans a bad name. Keep ignoring the facts, it fits with the stereotype.

WHOA he put the same shirt back on to film the last part??? Crazy! Who would do such a thing???
