Me neither - i have had problems only with their devices...

:D
Only 1 device issue in 22 years - quickly made right by them.

You don't get to be the highest grossing, most profitable corporation ever on the planet (bigger than all oil companies, pharmaceutical companies, etc) by turning out crap product with crap service.

Apple has more money (700 billion) than the entire gross domestic products of several small countries.. Lol.

Cool and frightening all at the same time..

If anyone is curious as to the outcome of this case. I went into my local Apple Store today as arranged by the customer service agent I was in contact with over the phone.
They didn't even attempt the screen replacement I was just given a new phone and was in and out in under 5 minutes. Very pleased that Apple admitted liability for this issue which was clearly not caused by me misusing the phone. I hope that others with 6 Plus's that bent so easily will also get theirs replaced for free.

Mate you are in denial.
You bent it.
Sat on it.
Your sons.
Whatever.
But you bent it. There is no bendgate. No magical spell against your phone. No Apple remote bend-switch.
You did bend it. And it wasn't just by keeping in your pockets.

Deal with it.
Looks like your on Apples n*ts. There are a ton of reports of the iPhone 6 bending in peoples pockets.

tons of reports ? Sure, in forums like this ....
iPhone doesn't bend unless you don't sit on it. Period.

Why do you think Apple decided to make it very difficult to bend the iPhone 6s Plus? Think they were bored and wanted to make the phone heavier for no reason?

I had my 6+ for 10 months and never bent it. However, I probably wouldn't have bent it if it had been made out of plasticine as I have a dedicated phone pocket in my jacket. Never once do my phones see the inside of a trouser pocket but let's face it, most people do put their phones in trouser pockets - especially in warmer climes - and a phone should be able to stand this kind of transportation.

The 6+ is a long, thin phone made of aluminium and with no strengthening to speak of. I'm not surprised that some bent and I expect it was far more than the nine that Apple quoted! I also expect that any phablet will bend in circumstances that a smaller phone would not. It's not rocket science and people need to be more careful with them.

you are right.
it's a thin aluminium phone, you have to take it into consideration and not sit on it.

Wow.. "Forums like this"??? As if our experiences are invalid? Why would you posture like this? What sources of information do you consult that are better than "these forums". Do tell..

Well, mine bent and it is / was otherwise flawless. Apple Store in NYC replaced it without hesitation and stated they have replaced a "few" recently.

The only reason iPhones bend is because of user negligence. Instead of people taking responsibility for their actions it has become common place for people to blame someone else and slap gate on the end.
Apple in fact provides their own evidence that this is a problem by changing the design of the iphone 6S and 6S+ to use 7000 series Aluminium instead of the 6000 series used on the iphone 6 and 6+

samsung changed materials from S5 to S6: so based on your assumption the Galaxy S5 bent by itself... lol...

Once again, no one is saying the phones are bending "by themselves" only that they are bending a lot easier than is acceptable. There's a big difference between the two which you are steadfastly refusing to acknowledge.
I also don't know why you are so fixated on the fact that I and others must have sat on our phones. I can't think of a single scenario where there's even a chance I could have sat on my phone, why would people sit on their iPhones. Your comments defy logic.

you bent it. Get over that.
Either you sat on it (most probably) or mistreat it. But the phone is not easy to bend by any means, as demonstrated in laboratory.

Apple replaced my entire phone for free, cracked screen and all because they know that the phones bend easily.
You can be as childish and rude as you like, telling someone to get over it doesn't make you right. The proof is in the pudding!

The rub in this whole argument - at least about Bend-gate - is that there are truths on both sides of the issue.

1) It does indeed take a 'great deal' of pressure to bend even the 6+..
2) BUT NORMAL USE of placing it in your back pocket as millions of users do - CAN bend it.

So a phone you spend up to $1000 purchasing SHOULD NOT bend in NORMAL use. So those who, IN NORMAL USE, placed a 6+ in their back pockets - WERE INDEED 'unintentionally' MISUSING 'that particular' POORLY made phone chassis.

So in the end it's more a battle or word semantics - than anything. And in pretty much all cases I've read about - Apple replaced bent 6+'s with no questions asked.

OP should've got AC+. No matter if it's bent or not it would be repaired or replaced.
Next time protect your device with every option available.
