Cute, but wrong. The manager specifically said to come in early and gave zero indication that there was any chance whatsoever that they would have no stock on launch day.
So while no one forced me, or anyone else for that matter, I was definitely given instruction to do so and the belief that if I did, an order I placed would be fulfilled. Sure, I'm not going to die. I won't even stub my pinky toe, but the point of the matter is, I went out of my way this morning to take care of something that was important to me. It went wrong, and I'm a little miffed, so I chimed in with fellow MacRumors forum members to blab about it with each other.
My feelings on the matter were important enough for me to comment about it.
Just as much as your feelings on the matter were important enough for you to comment about it.
The difference is, you're being rude.
I'm not being rude, I'm just telling you things that you don't want to hear. Sorry, but that's the truth. You are no different than the hundreds of other self-entitled people here who think they are owed an iPhone today. No sympathy for you.
