that was with all. I believe that the only people even receiving the 7+ are honestly only those of us that pre-ordered. That statement made by apple apparently said that all sizes and colors of the 7+ sold out to pre order and no walk in customers would be able to purchase one.

This is correct. Please do NOT go into a BBy store tomorrow expecting to get a 7 plus of any variant

What time did you order? I have the same order and still no info.

I too ordered the same thing. I got mine in about 2:30 AM Central on 9/9. Still in the first step of Processing for me. Best Buy Customer Service, as of a few minutes ago, states that they fully expect my device to arrive by tomorrow. However, they do not offer pre-signing for the shipment like Apple does. So I may not be able to run off and hunt for a watch...
 
Just recieved an email with a copy of our service contract and the status moved to "Preparing to Ship." It's for a Gold 7 Plus 32GB.

They are shipped next day air saver for those who are wondering, UPS my choice confirmed delivery for tomorrow

This waiting game is a killer and not necessarily knowing when it will actually come and waiting on emails.... lol man let us have patience lol

The only change in our two orders is that it now says awaiting authorization, even though the charge was already authorized and could see it pending on my card?
 
FWIW, Best Buy confirmed my unactivated Verizon iPhone 7 128GB Silver will be ready for pick up tomorrow (Friday) AM.

So I just check my card and there are TWO authorizations for the same amount for each phone (4 total) from Best Buy. Yet the order now says "awaiting authorization" what the heck is that all about?
 
Did your credit card get charged prior to the shipping notification?

Since my phone is a lease upgrade my total was $0. I haven't noticed any credit card activity and even now under payment it says waiting for authorization even though it's shipped

i think my credit card charge dropped off. i cannot see pending transaction or what so ever but the amount charged by best buy was deducted on my credit but no transaction from best buy, weird. doesn't have any movement yet. i hope best buy would have 256gb available for release tom.
 
Over the years I've come to learn that Best Buy's communication process is pretty much crap. Not even their own associates know what's going on.

Last Friday morning, the 9th at 9:30, I was standing at Best Buy's doors waiting on them to open, to preorder my iPhone 7 plus black 128 gb. I've preordered all of my iPhones this way since the iPhone 4.

They open, and I'm first in line at the mobile desk. The associate sits down and begins the process. This is where the fun begins. 40 minutes later, they figure out it's not possible to preorder the 7 plus in the store. She said you have to do it on the website.

I go on the website, on my phone, and there are almost no phones available by now. I notice that the 256 gb black is still available, so I choose that. Once I begin the order process, I have issues with the website. She tries to do it on her computer. Nadda. She tries on her cell phone at the same time I try again on mine. 35 minutes later, I'm going through the order process. I have to try it about 8 times to be successful. But I did preorder a black 256 plus.

By now, its about 11:45, and I'm sure I'm at the back end of the preorder priority list. Even though I was the first to set foot in the store that morning, just as I had been doing for years.

To make matters worse, I called two Best Buy stores the day before to ask how the preorder process would work. Both answers were the same. "Just as they have for the past several years". But the store was open and selling phones well before even their own associates knew the 7 pluses wouldn't be available to preorder in store. You would think that's a tidbit that would have come down the chain prior to that point. Had I known the day before, I would have gotten up at 0300 that morning, and done it on their, or ATT's website. At least then I wouldn't be 9 hours behind the curve, and way down the list. I imagine, this will be my last phone purchase from Best Buy.

Now, I'll be the first to say that this is indeed a 1st world problem, and I'll count myself blessed that this is the extent of my problems this week. But, it's still a bummer that this will be the first launch day I've missed, because Best Buy sucks at communicating.

That my preorder story for this year, and I'll wager that next year it's really gonna be fubar with the iPhone 8.

Did anyone get charged for their apple care but not their phone? I have a pending charge for a month of apple care + tax but not for the phone and I am still in the processing phase on Best Buy's site. This is for a 7+ 128GB black order about 20 minutes after pre orders went live for store pickup
 
FWIW i just stopped in to BBY (Apex, NC) to pick up a couple of accessories and chatted up the store manager. He said he did not get any 7+ in the 256 capacity in.... even for pre-orders. He mentioned a 10/7 fulfillment date.

Looks like it was a good idea to switch to ship to home instead of pick up. Hoping i get that shipment email soon.

Yes, mine is showing up like that now too but I didn't order my device until 1pm (256GB) so I'm just hoping that my order will still be fulfilled and delivered tomorrow.

Mine as well. Pending on phone, fully charged on apple care. Just happened about an hour ago or so.
