EST here also and no change. 256 RG 7+ preordered 9/9 on line for in store pick up.
Your chances on that model should be good as I've seen that show as available for reservation as late as yesterday at Apple Stores for the iPhone Upgrade Program, I almost caved and ordered it when the preorders went live as it was the only color that showed as having stock right after it went live.
[doublepost=1473958715][/doublepost]As per a thread on Reddit in store shipments were drop shipped to stores today so they should be beginning to allocate inventory to preorders and possibly contact us later today to arrange appointments for pickup. Their particular store reportedly got enough to fulfill all their orders with some regular 7's leftover for walk ins. So there is hope!

I also received the email BB with shipping label and instructions for sending back my 6s+. So hopefully the "preparing to ship" means it could go out later today

Pre ordered on 9/9 at +22 min after it went live, called best buy today about the order and

"Order Status: In Progress"

Hopefully I will get my Matte Black 128gb 7+ but i highly doubt it at this point since i havent recived shipping info

Your best bet to get shipping updates would be to sign up for UPS My Choice so you get notified of all deliveries to your name at your address.

It's possible they might use FedEx too. So I would sign up for both. FedEx works the best IMO because it is geared more towards your address than your name. UPS is geared towards your name more than the address. So if the shipper does not have the Ship To name exactly like it is in UPS My Choice, you still won't get a notification for Ups My choice and won't be able to edit the delivery even after calling customer service.

Ok guys just got the shipping notification with tracking... I was in the dame boat as most of us here... The AM the order was still "processing" .. then about 10 mins ago I get the alert of the shipping notification. So sit tight..

I ordered the 7--in 32Gb, placed the order on launch day at like 1000am Central time..

I ordered at 5am ET the day of pre-orders. I still have no additional movement. 7+128GB (Matte) Black.
 
I was told last night that for those of us with in store pick up, we will not actually see a charge to our card until we pick up the device.

That actually seems accurate to me. I did buy a first gen apple watch and did in store pick up the other day since they are so cheap, and the charge didn't hit my account until I picked the watch up.
They ask for the last four digits of the card you used when you arrive and that is when the charge goes through.
So don't fret if you have in store pickup and aren't seeing any charges!


I just thought I would post really quickly again to update, I called my local store that I will be picking up from, and they told me, "If you pre-ordered, it will be here. All of our pre-orders will be available for pick up tomorrow morning."

So that is consistent information from 5 different BBY employees now regarding if my phone will be available or not.

No way!!! Does the tracking info tell you the delivery date?

Best Buy told me that we shouldn't expect home delivery to have a tracking number until late tonight or early in Friday Morning (12 to 2 AM) per Apple's restrictions on shipping a pre-order device by a Third Party. According to Best Buy, only Apple has the ability to ship a pre-order product in advance.

Still no change on mine and I ordered at 2:30 AM Central time on 9/9. 128 GB Matte Black Plus.

Somewhat off topic: But please make sure your bill is paid. If you go to a carrier store, Best Buy, or Apple for tomorrow...please make sure your bill is paid. At BBY, if the bill is past due...we usually can't even access the account for the upgrade. Just throwing that out there.

Don't want anybody standing in line for a phone....and finally get to the front, only to be told they can't get the phone b/c the account is past due. I've seen it before at my job and it sucks for the customer and for the reps (some customers tend to act like it's the reps fault that their bill is unpaid)

With that being said, tomorrow is the big day. I'm excited but also stressing like a mofo lol. Just hoping things go smoothly lol

that was with all. I believe that the only people even receiving the 7+ are honestly only those of us that pre-ordered. That statement made by apple apparently said that all sizes and colors of the 7+ sold out to pre order and no walk in customers would be able to purchase one.

Yeah this is super crazy... I'm hoping to receive an email tonight on my 7+ matte black 256gb soon as I order on 9/9 as well
 
I work at a Best Buy and all we are getting is rose gold. Nothing higher than 128. Also there is no black jet black or silver of any configuration coming to our Store or market. Will be an epic fail.
 
On one of my iphone orders i received a text from BBY saying there was an issue with my mobile plan (Verizon). This phone I put on the 24month plan. The text had a phone number to call so I called and the person said that the preorder timed out on my Verizon account so I gave him my information and he was having the back office send it through again. I now went to my Verizon account and it says I just signed up for a 2 year contract! My order through Best Buy says 24 monthly payments. Of which I will pay off in like a month or so. What is going on????
