Best Buy Pre-Order Availability

Just checked my order details for instore pickup on Bestbuy and its changed from "Processing" to "Preparing". Hopefully its a good sign that I'll get my matte black preorder. Also the cancel order button has reappeared.

I'm sure the authorization fell off, especially if its still processing.

I've ordered many things from best buy and also work for best buy mobile. Nonetheless, after a few days the authorization will fall off and they will charge your card again.

The same thing just happened with my Series 1 Apple watch that I preordered on launch day.

Ordered 7+ 128GB Matte Black for home shipping. Email said get it by 9/16. Been following this thread and called BB yesterday and got nowhere with them same story as many of you. Order still shows processing but my authorization did just get dropped from my credit card.
 
So with the change in the pre orders for the Apple Watch does this mean Best Buy won't have any in store on launch day?

It now says that it is backordered yet the Order says it is still arriving by Friday, September 16. Confused, I gave Target a call again. It can't be worse than my call to them last night, right? The person who picked up today could at least make complete sentences and checked on the issue for me.

(I have no idea where Target outsources their call center, but they need to move it. It is very hard to understand any of them)

The representative said that my order is in Transit by FedEx but they don't have the tracking number. It should be provided later today and arriving to me by tomorrow.

*fingers crossed* I don't have to go hunting for an Apple Watch at the Apple store tomorrow.

I was told for a third time that my order seemed to look good for pick-up on Friday. Really hoping that is the case. I would just like to see any kind of movement on my page. I will still probably go to an apple store and wait in line just in case.

Apple Store is not an option for me as all of the iPhone 7 Plus models are sold out and none will be available for people waiting in line at Apple Stores.

My Status is still Processing and hasn't moved one bit.

I am in the same boat as you are. processing. will be refreshing throughout the day
 
if you're in PST or MST Best Buy hasn't even opened yet so you shouldn't expect your status to move.
 
EST here also and no change. 256 RG 7+ preordered 9/9 on line for in store pick up.
