Just keep in mind that a single store's inventory doesn't reflect all stores and also that the overwhelming majority of people that ordered at Best Buy wouldn't even know what Mac Rumors is.

My phone has not changed status at all. My 128 GB Black Matte 7 Plus is still "In Process." Ordered at about 2:30 AM Central time on 9/9.

try to go to any item (like tv) except iphone on the side of the screen you will see questions.

I still can't find it either. I'm on mobile though so maybe that's the reason.
 
Don't bother with the chat. They told me you have to call the main Customer Service number. The agent then disconnected the chat.
 
Just got the dreaded Best Buy order delay email. Ordered iPhone 7+ Black 128GB at 3:45AM shipping to my house.

BUT THEY GAVE ME A $100 GIFT CARD.

Still sucks and f*** BB for wasting my time but whatever.

See.. that is all I want to know. Do I plan on driving over tomorrow or not? That is all I want to know. If they are processing the pre orders in store, I just want to see movement on my best buy order tracking page.

At least the $100 gift card will soften the blow a bit. I have another iPhone 7 Plus arriving tomorrow from Apple. It isn't the color I wanted.

Just got an email from Best Buy that my rder will be delivered by October 7 and also offered me $100 gift card!
 
FWIW i just stopped in to BBY (Apex, NC) to pick up a couple of accessories and chatted up the store manager. He said he did not get any 7+ in the 256 capacity in.... even for pre-orders. He mentioned a 10/7 fulfillment date.

Looks like it was a good idea to switch to ship to home instead of pick up. Hoping i get that shipment email soon.

Looks like the store manager gave me some good intel... 10/7 matches the date I just got from Best Buy.
 
Yup, just got the email as well. Delayed until Oct 7, or sooner. $100 BB credit....

I'm not going to complain--I'm using 2 year contract extension to keep VZ UDP at $29, getting a subsidized phone, and going to use it on ATTso I don't lose UDP. Plus $100 credit now. So feels like a wash. I used to be crazy about getting the phone on launch day, not anymore, so that's good.

But if I were buying this phone outright, and was intent on getting it on launch day phone, I'd be upset.

3 week delay. Annoying, but I'll live.

So ... if we use the $100 to buy something before we get the actual 7 Plus is delivered on 10/7... will we still be able to return the iPhone?

I received the same email. No big deal. That does soften the blow a TON actually. It will come when it comes.
 
I haven't received that email like you guys. Maybe there's still hope i will get mine tomorrow.
