Best Buy Pre-Order Availability

I can tell you right now that when I was a rep, which was not very long ago, I could upgrade a phone either to a two year OR NEXT on an unlimited data plan.
In fact, my boyfriend has been doing that.
I honestly think your rep is lying to you because moving people over opens up possibilities to sell you more monthly services.
You can get a phone on next or two year without losing your data.

Besides the Apple Associate being new to all of these, it all went very smoothly. Everything popped up as expected and had the option to maintain everything else on my plan and lease. Before I went, I chatted with an Apple Assosiate online to confirm that I could indeed use the reservation website without being an IUP customer AND maintain the lease on my Sprint iPhone Forever Plan. I even had the transcript emailed to me as proof just in case I got turned away.

But no hassle at all when I arrived at the Apple Store :)

Where Do I go? In a store?
 
I know the question is out there regarding the $100.00 and if you cancel what happens...and after checking the BestBuy.com forums one of their admins confirmed that it's yours regardless of whether you cancel your preorder or not.

Yeah. You have to go into a corporate store.

And I did forget that they did discontinue 2 year contracts. But you can do next with your unlimited data plan. The only change you're going to see on your plan is the addition of the monthly installments, which you already know, and those aren't taxed.
 
So, although I cancelled my iPhone 7 plus order because I got one from Apple, I just went to place an order for an iPhone 7 with a Verizon account on a line that has UDP and has an upgrade available. Best Buy wants $419.99 for a phone that costs $749, and should cost $299 with the full subsidy.

BB is charging $120 more than they should! I thought they only did this for phones you buy outright? (When I preordered my iPhone 7+ from BB, they gave me the full subsidy).

So what is this nonsense now?

I think you're mistaken. Which model are you purchasing? The iPhone 7 plus 128GB is $220 more than the base $200 on the 2 year contract.

Also make sure that you don't use the phone whatsoever on the unlimited data line or you'll lose it.
 
Most best buy stores have stock of iPhone 7 128gb matte blacks and rose gold and 32gb rose gold. 256gb matte black and rose gold. Jet black, you'll be waiting till mid October/ November till you see those in stores

I decided to just wait it out another week or so. Let's see if Best Buy pulls through but it doesn't sound like there is much stock in 7+ matte black 256gb anywhere? Even the Apple stores don't show much in stock.
 
Last weekend, Best Buy was nice, added me to a list to call if they get what I want in, etc.
They must have gotten tired of people asking because they are reading the AT&T store script now.

We never get any 7+ in stock, everything is for preorders. You won't see a 7+ until November.

I'm cancelling jet black because I change my cases all the time and that pressure of the cases especially if they have design s in them they will leave marks on the glossy finish
 
So I went to the BestBuy website and saw that the AT&T iPhone 7 Plus Black 32GB will ship in one business day. So I ordered it, and the shipping date is in two days. Do you guys think this is correct?
