I'm gonna go wait in line at Apple Store in my area.. Screw all this nonsense. If it weren't for all this 2yr contract ATT people having to go through ATT I wouldn't even be worrying about all this... Why can't Apple get these order projections right on the larger phones too... ugggh.

The Best Buy website says the AT&T 64 gig rose gold plus is still available for preorder. That's a laugh. That puppy sold out in about five seconds flat. I don't know whether to go to the Apple Store or go to the Best Buy store. I am AT&T next program eligible for my upgrade right now. Everything is all set as far as getting a new phone does but I just have to find the right place to have my luck.
Sadly a lot of people in New York will not be getting phones tomorrow so rumor has it they are Trinkling over the border into Connecticut. They might even come as far down as me because I am only about one hour away. This is going to be a little chaotic tomorrow

Whenever you preorder a phone at BBY, you put a 50 dollar deposit down. The sales person then puts that 50 dollars back on a gift card. So that gift card that you have is basically the same 50 dollar deposit you just paid.
What I don't understand is how I preordered it September 12th @3:30am and still nothing yet. I know for sure I should be at the beginning of the line but yet have still not got a call or email from them. I also called them at 12pm today and they told me they were in and that they were checking them in. It's 4pm and still nothing. I know I should be before all the walk in preorders.
Yea I ordered at 3:22am and I'm still seeing the status as Pre-Order, I ordered a +128g Gold Rose so maybe they're just extremely limited or maybe they're just waiting for more stock, still I'm not freaking out till tomorrow. They may get a truck tonight or UPS/Fedex tomorrow. Though it's frustrating not having any clue whats going on.
Just went to another best buy to look at stuff. They have an apple sales guy there. He told me I shouldn't worry too much and that best buy actually is getting a ton of them

They better not be singling me out because I didn't do a contract. Everyone that got a confirmation it's ready for pick up at a Best Buy store, are you doing contract or full price?
I pre-ordered at contract price, but I plan to cancel and purchase at full retail price.
Also, I pre-ordered in-store rather than online.
Went into my best buy and the manager over the mobile store wouldn't tell me jack squat about orders, but another guy said even though i preordered late he thinks I will get one since they got a lot of the kind i wanted

But whose pre-orders are they filling first is the question… My Best Buy said they would fill all pre-orders before they sold to walk in customers.
