I put the shellrus sapphire protector on today. So far so good, but it took me a while to work out the bubbles after application. Was worth it though - looks and feels great.
I was thinking about getting it, but then I have to remind myself how expensive it is. I remember spending around the same for the iMOS that I got for my past iPhones, and although the quality was great, it was a waste of money that I could have used to buy cheaper alternatives and still have change left over.

BTW, how edge to edge is the protector? Any exposed screen?

And can you take closeup pictures of the edges?

Thanks!

Purchased the TOCOL 3 Pack of screen protectors for 12 PM. It has the entire notch cut out but I don’t mind - I was more concerned about image distortion from the glass / adhesive over the front facing camera. Super-easy install with the alignment guide. Great clarity, excellent screen coverage, zero color flare at the screen edge, good screen feel and absolutely no bubbles. Also the cheapest screen protector I could on Amazon - at least in Canada.

I was initially going to order the Spigen or iCarez protectors (difficult to find for the 12 PM and relatively expensive in Canada, respectively) but am very pleased with the TOCOL-branded ones.

Anybody got imos sapphire for the 12 pro max? I placed the order and waiting to be shipped

I can't tell how close the edge to edge protection is as it's blurry when zooming in, but I see some exposed screen close to the bezels, albeit very little?

The iCarez I got for my GF's Pro Max, in terms of coverage, at least for me, is surprisingly disappointing. There's a lot of exposed screen along the edges when used with the Spine Clear Case, even with a perfect install, that dust can easily get trapped underneath the edges.
Agreed, the iCarez are disappointing me here. Sorry for the pics there, it def has some exposed screen but it gets way closer.

I think I'm going to suck it up and get another Flolab, unless anybody has found other comparable ones w/r/t screen cover...i've been trying to find the actual screen protector dimensions to try more random Amazon ones but it is usually just the packaging

I usually buy Tech Armor as they have always worked very well... bought a 3 pack of cheap glass protectors on eBay this time.

first one went on excellent... one tiny spot near the top left notch... I doubt I remove this screen protector for at least a couple years.

love this PB 12 Pro and totally satisfied on how I have it cased and protected.

Please give us more pics of that Bellroy.

Guess my theory about the Flolab and iCarez being the same protector just went out the window. As someone who ordered the Flolab, kind of happy about it.

Same here. It beats the **** out of Whitestone though. I've done those a few times for a few phones....ALWAYS a real PIA. The sapphire was nothing like that and looks much better. Don't even notice it (except for their watermark/etched logo).

Any chance of getting some closeups of the edge? I like to see how much screen coverage there is. Thanks!

Did my best. Hard to get all the dust off for the pics but it's spotless. Best part is I can rest my mind when needing to wipe my screen off----on a shirt, jacket, jeans, etc. I don't have any diamonds lying around to scratch this beauty.

The "sapphire" mark is very faint and not viewable when the screen is on. It shows up in the pics due to the lighting.

thanks so much! I just bought one.

I've done many of glass protector installs, but I'm always worried and nervous when doing it for the expensive ones like I've done with the iMOS. I'm very OCD about perfect alignment and any dust underneath, even if it's a very tiny speck. I've had to throw away some inexpensive ones due to constantly applying/reapplying from stupid dust that always work their way underneath.

I'm hoping I don't have trouble with the Shellrus, and if so, I hope the adhesive is strong to be reapply multiple times. I am planning to follow this guy's guide to stick a dust sticker at the corner to easily lift up in case there's any dust.

Shellrus Install Guide

The snap on guide is helpful to align it perfectly. It's very much like a normal glass install. I had to lift mine about 3 times to get 2 small dust specks. After the first lift, I wrote it off like I'd was going to ruin it by adding more dust. So happy I decided to go in and get them tho. Screen is just like it came out of the box.

Just take your time, turn the hot shower on, etc. You'll be rewarded knowing you'll never get a scratch....at least that's my understanding. I watched a YouTube test the hell out of many protectors and they could not scratch this one.

TechMatte (amFilm) had a 3 pack for $4 after coupon for so gonna try that out. Been tempted to try one without the notch cutout though due to dust. Will use amFilm temporarily until I see more options and better pricing

I have the same and it's a great fit. Oleophobic coating too.
After watching countless videos I really don't know why people don't just go for the Spigen. As far as I can tell, unless you're going to get the FloLab, just stick with the Spigen and get some great stuff with a super easy installer. The slightly cheaper ones aren't as good and other than the Flolab, the expensive ones aren't better. At least that's my take on it.

Just received my Imos sapphire glass screen protector for my 12 pro max now waiting for my device to arrive

Where did you get the iMOS?
Srsworks store in China Hk

got some casper screen protector put on mine at a repair shop. Seems ok but he was off about .5-1mm and its driving me a bit crazy.

For all the recent Flolab questions for pics of black edges / case - check out my previous post in here, it's definitely pretty great on all those counts and passed the real test (read on below..) https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/best-screen-protectors.2263626/post-29234886

I was coming here to give an update that i dropped my phone last night (in apple clear case) with flolab and it fell like a ton of bricks onto pavement. It looked so totally shattered, i was positive there was going to be real phone damage. But you know what, when i took the Flolab off it was totally perfect! So awesome.

however, i've just ordered the iCarez that others have mentioned here because I'm not crazy about dropping another large chunk of change on flolab lol, and I do think the protection was the same as what I'd have gotten from any tempered glass. but seriously was fortunate it went so far to the edges and that the case had a lip on it

This makes no sense to me. So, the Flolab saved your phone and yet you decide to get a different cheaper brand...? Lol? Also, Flolab will replace your shattered protector for free according to their website.

Got the Flolab. Doesn’t fit with my case from smartish :-(. The sides “bubble up”. At this point I think i am going to give up on a screen protector and just go “naked”. I have apple care.
and it has the same issue with polarized sunglasses causing a “rainbow” effect (makes me dizzy)
