Weird. When I search Amazon for Spigen iPhone 12 screen protector that does not come up in the results and I don’t see it on Spigen’s website. 🤷‍♀️
I bought the ESR one because of recommendations here. I’ll see how it is when my phone arrives. I was going to get FloLab but with shipping it was $30 for one!
lol yeah Amazon’s search lately has been weird! Given how this year has panned out so far... it’s no surprise!

worst thing is you buy an expensive screen protector then you phone develops a fault and has to be taken in for repair, the first gong they do is take off the screen protector, so that's money down the drain

makes sense to get a decent budget 3 pack, like others i only use them to keep the screen pristine.

When I purchased my screen protector at the Apple Store just a few days ago (Belkin Invisiglass Ultra), they told me that when I bring my phone back (I have an appointment for service, to replace the camera and battery), then if they damage the screen protector while doing that work, they will replace it for free ('comp' it to me).

I don't know if that is their standard practice for any time a phone is brought to the store for repair, but it is worth asking them, if you happen to purchase the screen protector from them of course.

i actually ordered this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DQGH9T1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

seems similar to the other one linked for you, only difference being that this one does not cover up the sensors, whereas the other one does. i was tempted to switch, but i couldn't find the sensor-covered version on spigen's own website, so not sure if it's legit...?

Ive used Tethys branded full coverage screen protectors on the iPhone x and 11 and really like them. Can't seem to find the available yet for the 12. They are quite inexpensive too.

Pictures attached.

Ease of install - Very Easy
Time to install - ~ 5 mins
Quality of glass - Pretty Good ( in comparison to Zagg )
Worth it ? - Definitely!
Thanks for the pictures. Tempted to pick a pack up despite already having a Spigen on my phone with the notch cutout that is perfectly on there. Not sure why these weren't released right away, I definitely would have grabbed it.

Thank you for the detailed pictures! It’s highly appreciated! Quality wise, you’d give the edge to Zagg? Could you please speak more on the comparison between the two, or any other ones you’ve tried for the 12. Also, if you were using a screen protector with a notch, did you notice any change in FaceID or the proximity sensor or True Tone after switching to the full screen?

I don't seem to be able to find the Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector [Glas.tR EZ FIT] for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, the on that doesn't have the cut out. The one above and the ones I manage to find are all for the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro.

Does anyone have any ideas where I gat get one of those?

Ok, that may be it.

I'll use an ESR screen protector and if I manage to get it on perfectly and it works, then I probably won't be looking for the one from Spigen. Then again, I've never had much luck in getting protectors to lign up properly and always ended up with the Belkin cut out one, applied in an Apple Store =/

No worries at all! It's very comparable to Zagg HD. I did notice some degradation in visibility with my Oakley polarized sunglasses, but nothing substantial that would deter me from recommending the Spigen.

I never got the notch'd version for this or my XS, so no experience with those, sorry. There is no change using FaceID or any of the other sensors ( TT, NightShade etc .. ) post Spigen.

I'd give it a go, especially for the price and the option to always return if it falls short of your expectation.

That settles it then. I’ve been reading and watching and analyzing pictures, and the Spigen to me seems like the winner. Thanks for posting and replying, and most of all for finding it! lol

Order the full coverage Spigen protector and didn’t realize I ordered the one for the Pro Max and not the regular Pro until I already pulled my old protector off. Now I’m tempted to go back to using no protector like I did on my XR and 8 Plus.

I’ve been using the iCarez matte plastic screen protector on both my 11PM and iPad Pro 12.9” for the past year and love it. It’s thinner than the glass protectors so it doesn’t really change the form factor of the phone. And the matte surface does help with reducing reflections and is WAY easier to clean than the normal iPhone screen glass.

I don’t normally drop my iPhone, but I did recently have my iPad Pro get knocked off a table outside and onto our brick patio (some adult beverages may have been involved) and the screen cover took some of the damage that would have permanently damaged the screen. I just peeled off the cover and replaced it with the second one they provide. On the iPad Pro, it’s nice because it works well with the Pencil, as a less expensive option to the PaperLike covers.

I’ve already got my order in on new matte screen protectors for both my wife’s new 12 Pro and the 12 Pro Max I just ordered. I do recommend them if you’re looking for an alternative to glass screen protectors, and I am not getting paid to say this.

Hoping the full screen spigen restocks soon. Any other full screen recommendations that don’t break the bank while still have somewhat good quality?

Anyone know why the Spigen full screen one isn't available? I got the notch one a few weeks ago, not knowing there was a full screen one. The one I have now works fine, but I would of preferred the full screen one.

Also, why do some full screen ones have a "frame?" Seems very unnecessary.

Same here, debating on holding out for the full screen version to come back in stock or just put the 2nd one from my original Spigen pack with the notch onto the phone. Amazon sent me the Pro Max version(seems that's what I ordered somehow) and I took the protector I had on from Day 1 off so the phone is naked for the moment.

Nice review by TechnicallyTee here, on:
  • Caseology Tempered Glass
  • ESR Tempered Glass Screen Protector
  • Caudabe CrystalShield Tempered Glass
  • MagGlass Tempered Glass
  • Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit

He seems very happy with the Caseology offering.
Spigen seems good to the touch?
The ESR however seems the best fit, it goes right up to the edges according to the video. Tempting.
